African Wild Dog Archive 🦴 🐶
African wild dogs are one of the most requested species to spot while out on game drive. Here in the Timbavati we're used to seeing rare predators, and wild dog sightings are quite common during the dogs' denning period. Here's a throwback to when we spotted wild dog pups on our traverse. The bumbling and boisterous pups were an absolute joy to observe.
You might want to consider a getaway at Avoca - we're coming up to the African wild dog denning period, which is mid-winter. There's a good chance of seeing the dogs this time of year.
