What a brilliant week. Things are coming together. So proud of the kids at Sanesa Q2 who took everything in their stride, we have only been coaching them for 2 months, their first show. They did so well 1st, 3x2nd, 4th. Kind , gracious and polite to their ponies. Rose lane has been hard at work, a big thank you to my incredible grooms, the Rose Lane Academy students for all their help. They had an amazing experience watching high level dressage lessons by John Smith and thoroughly enjoyed their outing. We are legally qualified from management to coaching ( Level 1 and 2 coaches) to run a legitimate public yard with Health and safety and Ceepsa requirements in place which is now required by law. Rose Lane is a multi-cultural yard with competitive and non competitive riders, we believe in holistic management where the horses and riders are each treated as individuals to meet each one's specific needs. With 27 years experience and 15 years since opening our doors, it's a privilege for us to look after clients beautiful horses to the best of our ability. Finally our precious Willow Way is ready to start her journey. What a clever little girl. First time ever on the lunge, the idea was just to walk to let her understand what we wanted, then madam decided nope I want to be a big horse and trot. It's so important to be quiet and slow with babies, give them time to process what we are asking. Damage gets done so fast, time is always on your side. Never rush things, it takes the time it takes. A clean slate is rarely afforded, it's our jobs to be mindful in each step of their learning process.
