Those who wander are not always lost 🐃

We humans aren’t the only ones that love to travel 😉 Mother Nature has been doing it for decades, traversing crazy distances relying on nothing but primal instinct.

Of all migrations, East Africa’s Great Migration is one of the world’s most famous and photographed wildlife event. The never ending trek of hungry gnus across Kenya and Tanzania’s plains - we’re talking more than 1.5 million wildebeest constantly on the move in pursuit of fresh new grass to graze - is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that belongs on every wildlife enthusiast’s bucket list!

When’s the best time to see this amazing phenomenon? The Great Migration happens all year round but if you would like to witness the Grumeti or Mara River crossings, then mid July through September would be your best bet.

When Mike reached out to us in order to surprise his future wife on a honeymoon adventure through Tanzania, we were so ready to turn his dream into reality! From chasing the rhythm of the Great Migration, floating up high on a hot air balloon safari, witnessing insane big cat sightings in the Serengeti, Tanzania offered our newly weds one adventurous welcoming package.

Walking safaris are the perfect way to connect with nature, understand the wilds, follow tracks, smells, and appreciate the hidden magic of plants and smaller things.

On this walk with we came across a fascinating crocodile skull - check out those teeth 🐊🦷😳

Our guide explained how over their lifetime, crocs grow and replace lost or broken teeth. The new tooth simply pushes the broken tooth out of the socket and–voila, a perfect set of pearly whites 😁 Pretty cool right?

Home to four World Heritage Sites and the World’s largest man-made reservoir, we are on a wild adventure! Largest National Park in Zimbabwe and home to thousands and thousands of elephants, it does not disappoint!

We’ve never met a sunset we didn’t like on the Zambezi. Especially when they’re shared with friends.☀️

Taking in the spectacular views and spotting a crocodile or two - Zambezi Boat Safaris are a unique experience you don’t want to miss.

What an amazing sighting this was 😍 Leopards are one of the greatest symbols of power and independence. It is so special to see them in their natural habitat.

Originally named by David Livingstone when he first wrote about the area surrounding the Falls - "a sight so wonderful that Angels must have gazed down on it in flight.” We couldn’t think of a better way to describe it.

High on life 🌈 Victoria Falls presents a spectacular sight of awe-inspiring beauty. If you’re planning a trip to Africa, this should be at the top of your list, it isn’t one of the 7 wonders of the world for nothing.

We had a visitor during our stop at Verney's Camp 🐘 It’s moments like these where you pinch yourself to make sure you are not dreaming.

Next stop - Matopos. With this amazing group.

Home to some of the most majestic granite scenery in the world, Matopos National Park is the perfect playground for any nature lover. This Unesco World Heritage Site is a stunning and otherworldly landscape of balancing rocks known as kopjes – giant boulders unfeasibly teetering on top of one another. When you see it, it's easy to understand why this place is considered the spiritual home of Zim. Breathtaking stuff.

Deteema Springs is an intimate safari camp, situated in an incredible wildlife area. Spot game while you’re lounging around the luxury pool - it truly is Africa in its wildest form!

Have you ever chilled in a pool watching elephants pass by? We spent most of our time right here - soaking up the African sun, floating around and listening to their loud rumbles. Heavenly.

Favourite moment on a safari for these ladies? It has to be the sundowner.

Picture this, the sun setting over the African savanna, streaks of red, orange and pink paint the sky. The air cools down and the only thing left to do is reflect on life sipping on a Gin & Tonic. A ritual that originated in South Africa, marking the transition from day to evening.
