Cape Town Air Access welcomes British Airway’s announcement of the return of their London-Gatwick to Cape Town route. The airline will operate a seasonal flight from 13 December until 25 March 2023 with 3 flights per week on the Boeing 777-200.

Furthermore, the airline will add capacity on their daily London-Heathrow route with the resumption of their second daily flight from 13 November until 25 March 2022 on an Airbus 350-1000.

With Virgin Atlantic’s return of their daily London-Heathrow flight commencing from 5 November, this will equate to a total of 24 flights per week between Cape Town and the UK for the summer season.

Cape Town and the Western Cape will benefit from this significant increase in connectivity from our top tourism market.
