Start your day on a sweet note with this delicious and nutritious recipe! Made from sweet potato, it's a healthy and satisfying way to indulge your cravings. Plus, it's packed with vitamins, fiber, and antioxidants to give you the energy you need to tackle your day. 🌞

Serves 2 | 20 minutes | 4 units

🛒Ingredients:

▪️ 180 g cooked sweet potato
▪️ ½ TBS honey
▪️ 1 tsp vanilla essence
▪️ 4 TBS nut butter
▪️ 4 TBS milk
▪️ 2 TBS cacao nibs (optional)
▪️ 20 g granola
▪️ 60 g berries

🗒Method:

▪️ Blend all the ingredients for the sweet potato bowl until smooth (use only half the nut butter). Add more milk if you need to.
▪️ Divide between 2 bowls.
▪️ Serve with cacao nibs, granola, berry 'jam' or berries, and nut butter. Add yoghurt (plain)

▫️Cupping therapy originated from Egypt thousands of years ago and was used as a means of detox and cure. It became highly known and practiced all over the Arab and Western world. It was recognised as the FIRST organised and documented 'surgery' 💉-

EVEN the royal family practiced it until the late 1800's...Shortly after modern medicine took over and natural healing methods declined.

▫️HOWEVER the arrival of "Hijama" was during the arrival of Islam 1400 years ago, whereby Allah ordained it for optimum health and spiritual wellbeing. 

The Devine revelation was practiced by our beloved prophet and recommended to all mankind and yes animal horns were used to during that time!. Although other therapeutic treatments such as acupuncture consist of wet cupping, Hijama is SPECIAL and DIFFERENT as it has its own strict rules ordained by Allah and his messenger. I.e.: Sunnah points around the body.

– Step 1- The Cue –

Last week we talked about the habit loop and the 3 steps that you go through when creating and operating off of habits.

This week as we work to get our mind dialed in so we can dominate our week, we are going to focus on step number one…THE CUE.

I want you to take some time this week to navigate through different cues that you have in your life and see if you can pinpoint any cues that need a little adjusting.

One cue that can creep up on me and send me into a negative habit loop is looking at the menu at a restaurant.

I have found that if I look at a menu at home before I go to the restaurant, I am able to pick out a meal that is going to keep me on track with my health and fitness goals and have me leaving that meal feeling good about what I just ate.

However, I notice that whenever I get to the restaurant and look at the menu, my motivation to eat that healthy meal and my will power to actually order what I planned can go right out the window.

So if I want to make sure that I continue to operate out of a healthy habit loop I must eliminate the cue of looking at the menu at the restaurant.

Now it’s your turn!

As you go through the week, if you notice any unhealthy habit loops that you are operating off of, take time to pinpoint the cue and see what you can do to adjust it or eliminate it to get the results you are looking for!
