Field Guide
Rooiberg lodge is seeking a polite, friendly, customer-orientated individual to join our team.
Job description
Lead guided tours and activities on and around the Lodge either in vehicles or on foot. While ensuring all company vehicles is well maintained and looked after. Ensuring guests involvement and enjoyment being the main responsibility. Willingness to be part of all aspect of the lodge.
Requirements
At least 2-3 years of experience in a Game Reserve or tourism setting in the relevant field
Possession of a valid driver鈥檚 license and PDP
Valid First Aid Level 1 certification or higher
Familiarity with Western Cape fauna and flora
Communication skills in English & Afrikaans
Physical and mental fitness
Ability to safely operate a 4x4 vehicle and perform basic maintenance
Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure
Flexible availability including weekends, public holidays, and evenings
Background in general maintenance or related fields. Basic Weaponry knowledge will be beneficial
Start date: As soon as possible.
Remuneration: Negotiable + Grats + Live-in
