A delegation from the Presidency arrived from Pretoria to inspect the moladi classrooms in Cape Town on Tuesday. Parliament visited the school on Wednesday. All very impressed with the quality of moladi structures. More than 600 schools and 15,000 homes have been damaged or destroyed by the recent floods in KZN and requires speed of construction to address the urgency of reconstruction.

South African based to build 60,000 homes for Ghana’s public servants

BUSINESS MAVERICK 168: South African company to build homes for Ghana’s public servants Modular construction firm Moladi says it will be delivering 60,000 houses to Ghanaians in 10 years.

Ghana, as most African Countries, has a huge 2 million housing backlog. Our CEO, Hennie Botes, was invited to meet with the Speaker of Parliament, Hon Alban Bagbin and Minister of Works and Housing, Hon Francis Asenso-Boakye to conclude a 60,000 housing project for civil servants in the Military and Police departments.

We have also been requested to bring on board our financial partners in order to assist in funding the projects.
