INSPIRATION: SHADOW BOX created by Christelle Meyer
For this project Christelle played around with some depth.
She used 2 of the 12x12 sheets from the About a Boy collection and some paper die cuts to create a shadow box.
They can be used in a mini album or as the mini album cover or as a decorative item in your home or craft room.
To add a little WOW factor, she added some colourful lights. Don't you just love the extra element the lights gives?

INSPIRATION: BRAG BOOK created by Janine Esterhuizen
For this project Janine decided that the 20cm x 20cm booklet was the perfect size paper to use to create a Brag Book.
A lovely gift idea for proud parents; grandparents etc, to show off photos of their little ones...

She used thick board to create the outer case and covered it in the same fabric she used for her Mini Album. After adding ribbon, she covered the outside with one of her favourite sheets from the collection -the teddy bears (with the hint of baby giraffes) and added a 'Brag Book' chipboard to the centre of the front of the book. She attached some album corners to finish off the look.

The pages of the brag book are in a waterfall style layout on both sides with a little extra side flap on the last page. Decorating the book was loads of fun and there were plenty of little paper embellishments and sentiments in the booklet to add to the pages. A quick and easy project to complete (photo selecting took the longest time) and a lovely keepsake for a loved one.

Some more Mixed Media Fun - alcohol inks.
Venessia used some foil tape, an embossing folder and some alcohol inks to create some "metal" embellishments and accents to decorate a single page scrapbook layout.

INSPIRATION: Double page layout created by Merle Zulberg
For this layout Merle used a navy blue cardstock as the background. She layered Sweet Boy across both left and right hand pages with the majority of the pattern on the right hand side. A strip of Enjoy the little things was added with the majority of the pattern on the left hand side.
She cut 10 flags from squares on the front of the cover - and layered them down both outer edges of the two pages. Photos were matted in a navy and olive green with doodling in white gel pen around the outside of the photo mats. Loads of embellishments and words were added to finish off.

INSPIRATION: Single page layout created by Marcelle Victor
Not a boy mom? No problem!
This collection provides ample versatile patterns and sentiments for just about any layout. Marcelle used photos of her daughter, a very "girly" girl as proof of this collection's versatility.
She used the green Today is Special sheet as her background, her favourite backdrop for all the lovely patterns to follow. She tore Time to Explore and Hugs and Kisses sheets from the Essentials pack, and layered them for a distressed look and adhered off centre towards the top of the page. Fussy cut elements and sentiments were used to create clusters around the photos. Marcelle used various flowers from her stash to add to the femininity of the layout. The chipboard title was heat embossed in a shade of mint to compliment the mint hues of the pattern paper. The layout was completed with paint splatters.

INSPIRATION: Minimalistic layout created by Lorraine Haddath
For this layout Lorraine chose the reverse side of some of the 12 x 12 papers from the collection to create a clean and simple layout which highlights the versatility of this range and how it can be used for all types of subjects. With the addition of a little inking and stencilling, a few embellishments and a sheet of rub-ons from her stash, for the stars and circle, nothing is detracted from the papers and the photos, which are of her growing Grandson Michael, posing for pics after winning the coveted Master Henley competition recently.
Cillian Murphy better watch out as he may have competition in a few years time!!!!!!

Fun with stamps! This vintage boyish charm collection brought on a sense of vintage crafting with the use of various stamps and Tim Holtz Black Soot and Uncharted Mariner distressing ink. It is a layout combination using the amazing backgrounds from the paper pack and just adding some patterns from the essentials pack together with the new press-outs. Reinette just wanted to bring in a bit of a junk journaling feel to the scrapbooking layout.

INSPIRATION: Double Page Layout created by Merle Zulberg
Merle chose to scrap this layout on the diagonal. The background is dark brown cardstock with a layer of caramel cardstock on top. She cut triangles from the Hugs and Kisses (teddy bear paper) and stuck them to the caramel cardstock with a strip of Enjoy the Little Things below each triangle. The photos are matted in dark brown with doodling in white gel pen around the outer edges. She also doodled around the edges of the background. Embellishments and words were then added to complete the layout. The grey-board laser cut out was inked in dark brown.
