Hiking trails The Welkom Hiking Club is an independent hiking club based in Welkom. This includes weekend hikes and long hikes that vary from 3 to 8 days.
We arrange day and weekend hikes for both members and visitors in and around the Free State, other parts of South Africa and our neighbour countries. We strive to accommodate all hikers' needs by arranging hikes that vary from easy, moderate to difficult. We also combine hikes with other outdoor activities, such as horse riding, river rafting, abseiling, 4x4 and other social events. Whilst travell

Wat n heerlike dagstap by Amanzi.
Goeienaand, ek beplan n stap die High 5 by Machadodorp en Badplaas van die 1/4 tot die 7/4 en is daar nog plek beskikbaar.
Die koste is R1270 plus die koste vir die slack packing wat ongeveer R500 per persoon of minder sal wees. Dit is nie n moeilike stap nie. Indien julle meer inligting soek sal ek dit gee

Ons reël die naweek van die 23 Sept n stap by Sporekrans te Fouriesburg. Die saterdag stap ons 14km en die sondag is n 6km stap. Dit is n baie mooi roete met lere. As daar iemand is wat belangstel kan julle my gerus kontak.
👣Goeienaand, ek wil net almal herinner aan ons vergadering donderdag aand om 7nm by die klubhuis waar ons opkomende stappe gaan bespreek. Daar sal n bring en braai wees. Pap en sous word voorsien. Hoop om almal daar te sien.

Amanzi Hike buite Brandfort. 26 Februarie 2022
Goeienaand, ons gaan eerskomende saterdag by Amanzi wildreservaat stap. Dit is 5.3 km stap en na die tyd kan die wat wil iets nuttig by die restaurant.
Die koste vir die stap is R50 per persoon. Ons vertrek saterdag oggend om 7 uur van Welkom af.

Ek het Wag-'n-bietjie hike bespreek vir naweek van 15-17 April 2016. Dit is 'n base camp trail naby Bothaville. Dis nie 'n moeilike stap nie. Koste is R110 per nag.
