Together we can 💪
This is so painful, losing such a friend. Surely my heart is broken and I don't know the right words to use. , we'll surely miss you and MHSRIP 😭😭🙏🌼🕊️🕊️
It begins🪞
My Past, Present and Future
IN SILENCE
Dear Black child
In silence it was truly needed
Screams are violent in my head
It is amazing indeed
And walls are broken and tears are shed
It’s an ongoing struggle
Who to be and where
A war is raging in my silence
I'll not try to prove who I am to anyone
But in silence I know
Did I have it ?
Did I sn**ch it?
Did I steal it?
Was I born with it?
Of course
I look up to the skies and stare at the star
Because all that I see is hope
Hope for a new dawn
And then we remember
That in silence is where we were all made
And in silence I shall prevail

I AM WHO I AM
You cannot kill me
You cannot charm
I am the end
Beginning and on
The rise of the ancient the dawn
I am who I am
Return of the ancient reborn
Same yet I still will transform
Purest the darkest and on
The rise of the ancient the dawn
I am who I am
Return of the ancient reborn
I cannot fail
No weapon against me prevail
The valley the shadow reveal
Fear is a sickness itself

In this world we seem to limit
What and who we can be
Inner peace is the new success
"There’s no fear in standing in my identity, For fear that I wouldn’t be claimed at home. That’s finished. The two years have really healed that bit of me that was unsure, or felt like I didn't belong. That’s gone." by Sampa The Great
BLACK GIRL
Dear Black Child
I've been black since twenty zero three
But I understand that, it is not just about me
Understand that this is spirit
Underneath this skin
Understand that this is soul that lives within
Soul glow from dusk till dawn
From the beginning where we all come from
So somebody tell me why we can't get along?
I wrote this psychosis for my sister like me
With skin as dark as the night that shines so effortlessly
I wrote this for my black sister who looks in the mirror
And calls out to beauty
Who can no longer see her
No one can describe who you are
But you are, who you are
Who are you?
Magic
Black magic

YOU ARE GREAT
Dear Black child
You are you, and unique
And you are an exhibit of your name
Because you are great
There will never be another you
Anywhere else in any part of time
In the past, present and future
Remember when you have doubts and fear
You always have your voice in your ears
Telling you you're the greatest
Know that to be great is to never lessen with a lesson
Because you can conquer any hill that comes your way
For "Legacy" is your name
You can be anything under stars
If only you try not to forget who you are
If only you look for your purpose in the right place
You can be dealing with your demons
But know that you are great
And even where you fail you prevail

ORIGIN
The journey of life, is amazing
From its origin
And point of creation
So much life
So much freedom
Free spirit
Wandering spirit
Lost. Trying to remember the laughter
Shrinking down to half versions of once was
In the end we try to piece it all together
To recollect progress
Through this new normal
This journey has brought a mirror
Does my inner self reflect what you see?
Through every season
Through every cycle
From my origin to my end
Through every light and every shadow
My mirror
The seed I sow, will need to balance
Throughout my Past, Present and Future
The seeds I sow should manifest 🙏👌
PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE (Part 1)
Dear BLACK CHILD
From my of point origin to my end
The seeds I sow should manifest
When I look in the mirror I see a birth
One that is not ordinary
But when I look deeper
I see a past unfold
A past of greatness
It's is this story that tells me about how great I am
My present brings fear to my heart
All of my demons are haunting me
The Past as a shadow follows me
the Future as the virgin venus beckons me
I have moved ahead of what is called life
leaving behind these flesh and bones
I have merged with the invisible dynamics of this universe
I look down and I smile
I am above pain and content
I am my present
But I will never forget my Past, Present and Future

A BLESSING IN DISGUISE
Dear Black Child
You see here's a queen, that knows her worth,
She's been a gift, since she's been on this earth.
God took His time, when He created her in the womb,
It was a joyous occasion, because she would be arriving soon.
You can look in her eyes, and see a story unfold,
About this queen, who truly has a heart of gold.
Her voice is like a melody, that will touch your soul,
Plus she puts a smile on the faces of the young and old.
When steps into the room, you can feel her presence,
It's something about her, she has an amazing essence.
I just wanted to share this with you, so y'all can realize,
That the Black Queen in this portrait, is a blessing in disguise

WE HAVE LOST WHO WE ARE
Dear black child
The one who throws the stone forgets
The one who is hit remembers forever
We have lost our many cultures
We have become bloody vultures
We have become as oblivious as sculptures
Our pride, our dignity and our heritage
It all now looks like a mirage
African has been stolen by the western culture of this age
Let us not forget that we are still black
We are still the children of Africa and our skin is beautifully dark
Should I remind you of the times when we used to sit by the fire
When our elders could tell us stories to aspire
Yes! I mean to aspire for Africa
Our culture is our spiritual aspect
We’ve been awesome since our origin
So let’s keep it like that

DON’T FORGET THAT
Do not rewrite my history
Taking out my victory
And turning my pen
I wanna say it again
You will remember the name Africa
You’ll remember the black skin
The black skin so perfect like fabric
African branded
Branded with ancestral knowledge
Sampa The Great
Happy birthday to you my princess 👸❤️

Just know your kah little bro Symply Raven loves you ❤️
I REPRESENT BLACK
Dear Black Child
I am the blood that flows in the veins of Africa
I represent the origin of life
And life is a spiritual journey
It’s not the air we breathe in and out of our lungs
But a spiritual journey of many tongues
I am the dark skin
The fabric of flesh considered as sin
I represent royalty
Because of my ancestral loyalty
The faithfulness to my African culture
I am a king, a queen, a prince and a princess of my origin
Because I represent a black virgin
A pure soul of unity and transcendent love

Congratulations Sampa The Great for this huge achievement, it’s not an easy thing to reach for the stars. And to all others Chef 187, Tio Nason and Mwanjé the sky is only the limit.
Can’t forget Marvel, Black Panther and Walt Disney Studios for this incredible movie
I AM BLACK AND POWERFUL
Dear Black Child
I am a stronger version of me
I know you envy me
I am flawless and that’s one thing you won’t agree
I am made of a stone heart
I am bulletproof and smart
I am a work of art
I am black
I am beautifully dark
I am not perfect but you can’t make me crack
For I am tougher than titanium
More precious than platinum
Very radioactive than uranium
I am a warrior
Born as a laborer
I am black but I won’t fall
That’s all you need to know

WORDS ABOUT MY FEELINGS FOR YOU
I have written some before,
And I can still write some more,
For in my mind, words have made a store,
And my feelings, these words can never ignore,
You are beautiful and bold,
More precious than gold,
I would love to love you like in the times of old,
Give you my heart in seven folds,
And create a love story that has never been told,
In my arms, you'll never catch cold,
I will forever be there for you to hold,
Well, at least, until death calls,
And six feet under ground, my body falls,
But until then, it's you I would love,
And will never place anyone above,
I'll stand by you with the strength of a lion, and the gentility of dove.

Happy Sunday y’all from your poet Symply Raven
DON’T PLAY WITH HER HEART
She’s a beast for her own
Enslaved on her throne
She’s ready to fight alone
She’s a mother, a strong fighter
She’s as beautiful as the flame of a lighter
Cause she’s her own destiny writer
Don’t touch her soft heart
It’s fragile and a precious part of her
Why would you want to fight her?
Does she look like a coward?
Well, she isn’t weak but awesomely powered
Empowered, overpowered and showered with might
Well she is a woman
A different human
