Do not overlook this fact that with the Lord one day is equivalent to a thousand years and a thousand years as one day.The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness,but is patient toward you,not wishing anyone to perish,but that all shoud reach repentance.The day of the Lord with come like a thief and then the heavens will pass away with a roar,and the heavenly bodies will be burnt up and dissolved and the earth and the works that are done on it will be exposed.Since all these things are thus to be dissolved and what sort of people ought you be in lives of holiness and godliness.Therefore, the heavens will be set on fire and dissolved,and the heavenly bodies will melt as they burn! But according to his promise we are waiting for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.Therefore,beloved,since you are waiting for these,be diligent to be found by him without spot of blemish and at Amen!

When will opression,tribulation,death and suffering come to an end? The Bible and the Bible only has answers for us.Revelation 21:1

PROMISES VICTORY. As CHAPTER succeeds chapter in the wonderful book of Daniel ,the the glorious truth is reiterated again and again that "The Most High rules in the kingdom of men," and that the ultimate triumph of righteousness is certain and sure. It is as though God said to the prophet, and through him to his people in all succeeding ages,"COURAGE! Fear not the powers of evil,be not dismayed by their raging madness; they will pass away. Be patient, and you will see their downfall. For all will be destroyed root and branch. Only the good, the pure ,the upright, the obedient, will endure forever. Saints, not sinners will inherit the kingdom eternal. " As the prophet Malachi says, "For behold the day cometh,that shall burn as an oven;and all the proud, yea,and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble; and the day that comes shall burn them up,says the Lord of hosts,that it shall leave them neither root nor branch. Where will you spend your eternity?

HOPE. The doctrine of natural immortality, first borrowed from pagan philosophy and in the darkness of the great apostasy incorporated into the Christian faith has supplanted the truth that "the dead not know anything." Ecclesiastes 9:5.Multitude believe the spirit of the dead are the "ministering spirits sent forth to minister for them who shall be the heirs of salvation." Hebrews 1:14.The belief that spirits of the dead return to minister to the living has prepared the way for morden spiritualism. If indeed, the dead are privileged with knowledge far exceeding what they before possessed, why not return to earth and instruct the living? If spirits of the dead hover about their friends on earth, why not communicate with them? how can those who believe in man's consciousness in death reject "divine light" communicated by glorified spirits? Here is a channel regarded as sacred through which Satan works. Fallen angels appear as messengers from the spirit world. The Prince of evil has power to bring before men the appearance of departed friends. The counterfeit is perfect, reproduced with marvelous distinctness. Many are comforted with the assurance that their loved ones are enjoying heaven. Without suspicion of danger, they give hear "to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils." 1Timothy 4:1.Those who went into the grave unprepared claim to be happy and to occupy exalted positions in heaven. pretended visitants from the world of spirits sometimes utter warnings which prove to be correct. Then,as confidence is gained, they present doctrines that undermine the scriptures. The fact that they state some truths and at times foretell future events give an appearance of reliability, and their false teachings are accepted. The law of God is set aside, the spirit of grace despised. The spirits deny the deity of Christ and place the Creator on a level with themselves.While it's true that the results of trickery have often been palmed off as genuine manifestations, there have been, also marked exhibitions of supernatural power, the direct work of evil angels. Many believe that spiritualism is merely human imposture. When brought face to face with manifestations which they cannot but regard as supernatural, they will be deceived and accept them as the great power of God. By satanic aid pharaoh's magicians counterfeited the work of God. Exodus 7:10-12.Paul testifies that the coming of the Lord is to be preceded by"the working of satan with all and signs and lying wonders and all deceivableness of righteousness. "2corinthians 2:9,10.And John declares" He does great wonders so that he makes fire come down from heaven to the earth in the sight of men; and deceives them that dwell on the earth by means of miracles which he had power to do."Revelation 13:13,14.No mere impostures are here foretold. Men are deceived by the miracles which Satan's agents do,not which they pretend to do.

How can you be moral in an immoral world?.. … The Bible has concrete answers to the question. Revelation 14:1-7
