DEVOTION

Being a Christian believer is not always an easy journey. In this journey you will meet people who will irritate you, people who will want to tarnish your name and people who are bent to destroy you.
I want you to know that everything that irritates you teaches you patience. Every negative things that people throw at you should teach you how to remain composed in the face of annoyance.

We frequently look to the things that bring us joy, happiness, and contentment in our lives, but we must also consider the things that frustrate and test us, as they also contain valuable lessons.

Whoever deserts you teaches you how to stand on your own two feet. Anything that enrages you teaches you compassion and forgiveness. Instead of dwelling on the negative, use these experiences to develop empathy, forgiveness, and compassion for others

MONDAY REFLECTION. Sometimes, the people closest to you can’t see what God put on your life. They can’t accept the favor, the blessing. They’ll get jealous, try to belittle, leave you out, discount you.

It’s tempting to want to spend our energy trying to convince them to like us. If you fall into that trap, you’ll end up controlled and manipulated by what they want. You have to be at peace with those who are not at peace with you. Be okay with those who don’t accept you.

If you needed them for your destiny, they would be for you. Take the high road. Be nice. Be kind, but don’t spend your energy trying to convince them who you are.
