Let's create a very basic web page.
indicates that we are using the latest version of html, which is html 5.
A website is basically made up of two main parts; the head and the body. In the head is where we find title (appears on top of the browser) among other things. In the body is where we find all other elements, such as h1 ( used for indicating headings, we have 6 levels of heading)
for paragraphing.

BRIEF INTRODUCTION TO INTERNET AND DEVICES

Websites are hosted by web servers across the world. In order for you to find the location of a web server, your browser will first connect to the Domain Name System (DNS) servers. For example, if you are going to search for a site on your computer, you will need to:
• Connect to the internet via an Internet Service Provider (IPS).
• Then type a web address in the search engine via a browser e.g. www.linkedin.com
• Then your computer will contact a network of servers called DNS servers. They act more like phone books, they tell the computer the IP (Internet Protocol) address associated with the requested domain name. An IP address is a number of up to 12 digits separated by periods / full stops. Every device connected to the web has a unique IP address; it is like the phone number for that computer.
• The unique number that the DNS server returns to your computer allows your browser to contact the web server that hosts the website you requested. A web server is a computer that is constantly connected to the web, and is set up especially to send web pages to users.
• The web server then sends the page you requested back to your web browser.

BRIEF INTRODUCTION TO HTML
HTML also known as HyperText Markup Language is the standard markup language that forms the structure of all websites using elements (not a programming language!).
HyperText, meaning text which contains links to other texts ( but may also mean other things like videos or images that are linked to other pages or text). A markup language is a computer language that uses tags to define elements within a document.

We are currently offering web design in HTML and CSS, where HTML is our introductory to web design, and so will be offered until most fundamentals are covered before introducing CSS.

PROGRAMMING YOUR FIRST C++ PROGRAM.

Requirements:
Must have a computer or smart phone with a C++ IDE (Integrated Development Environment). If using windows you can download Microsoft Visual Studio Express and the GNU c++ compiler called g++ for Linux. If using Linux you can use Eclipse IDE using the g++ compiler. If using a smart phone you can download cxx on Playstore or you can simply use an online IDE that runs in your browser via http://www.tutorialspoint.com/compile_cpp_online.php.

Quick Intro To C++
C++ is a programming language initially developed by Bjarne Stroustroup at Bell Labs in 1979 to be successor to C language.
'++' meaning to increment or add to, and that's what they did to C++ (added more to C) in order to make an object oriented programming language C++ which includes concepts such as inheritance, abstractions, polymorphism, and encapsulation which are useful for modern day applications.

Have you ever wondered how your phone or computer works, or why the top arrow ⬆️ causes the BMW in need for speed to rock down crazy towards the finish line?
Well wonder no more, the idea behind that can be explained using a single term, the witchcraft you have been suspecting is simply called software programming. Yes you heard right! This is the concept behind all software you have ever encountered, talk of mobile apps, websites, games, you name it! They all relay on programming to be whatever they are, and the person who make them is called a programmer, so in case you've downloaded the dumbest app before, at least you now know who to blame.
In basic words, it's simply instructing the computer what to do and how to do it in response to something using a programming language. A programming language is just a special computer grammatical language that can be interpreted by a compiler and converted into a machine language to carry out an executable, so let's say you want to make a simple program that prompts a user to guess a number, that is if the guess is right the computer should respond by displaying 'you won!' and if wrong, the response should be ' you loosed!'. You may write a few lines of code that:
1. Asks the user to enter a guess
2. Checks whether the users guess is the desired one or not
3. If it is, instruct it to display 'You won!'
4. If it is not, instruct it to display 'You loosed!'
Simple right? Not so different from the basic pseudo code we did in math even though you may see a bit of some unusual syntax, that shouldn't scare you away.
So now tell me in the comments section below the steps you would take ( also known as algorithm) to make a program that prompts a user to enter a password, then validate it.
