KK MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT
On the 17th of July 2021, the Kaluba Foundation was invited to be part of a football game activity organized by Bosco Youth Reachout for children from marginalized communities.
One of Bosco's priority areas is to promote Sport, communal recreation and community service among young people. Although the Kaluba Foundation is more centered on the plight of Youth in national development, We honoured the invitation because we understand that children are the future youth and any activity supporting to improve human capacity is a welcome one. Together We will..π»

Potential drivers of Sustainable development
But do they know?
If not, why not?
If yes, who has taught them?
And how are they using the information?
EDUCATION FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT AS A COMPONENT OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENTAL ACTIVITIES
One of the many objections of the Kaluba foundation is to bridge the gap between the youth and a lack of information on sustainable development. We believe that 'learning must prepare learners and students of all ages to find solutions for the challenges of today and the future' ~(UNESCO, 2021). Therefore, n order to help achieve the 2030 agenda on Susustainable development Goals, the local community and CSOs have a prominent role to play.
That is why eandeavour to become a local center for Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) targeting young people of the Zambian local communities to acquire the knowledge, skills, attitudes and values necessary to shape a sustainable future.

OVERALL IMPRESSION ABOUT THE MEETING:
It was very productive and encouraging seeing youths engaging in issues that concern them.
Good morning, What sustainable development goal is close to your heart?
Want to disseminate information on Sexual Reproductive Health Rights? Governance or climate Change? Do not neglect the artistic aspect of it because if information in a book cannot be fully accessed by all, We risk leaving young people behind.
How are you celebrating Earth Day Today?π
Kaluba Foundation is proud to announce the unveiling of a new movement aimed at raising climate change awareness called "Young Artists for Climate Change Zambia" YACCZ..
It's the energy for us!ππ
We are live from Bosko Youth reachout Makeni where we have been accorded space for our activities. This is such a joy as having a place to meet for our activities has been a great challenge to us for some time now.
As youths, resources may never be enough to kick start change hence start with what's available.
WHAT DOES THE INTERNATIONAL YOUTH DAY MEAN TO US?
THIS DAY IS A RECOGNITION OF THE VITALITY OF THE YOUTH OF EVERY NATION AND THEIR ROLE IN MAKING THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE. MOST EMPOWEMENTS ARE AIMED AT THE YOUTH AND WOMEN BECAUSE WHEN GIVEN A TASK, THEY WORK WITH THEIR HEARTS TO SEE IT COME TO PASS.
AS KAUBA FOUNDATION, WE CELEBRATE EVERY OTHER EFFORT BY ALL YOUNG PEOPLE GIVING THEIR TIME AND SOMETIMES RESOURCES TO CONTRIBUTE TO A BETTER ZAMBIA.... AS WE CELEBRATE, INDIVIDUALLY THE QUESTION SHOULD BE 'ARE MY WORKS AS A YIUTH TOWARDS THIS NATION COMMENDABLE OR OTHERWISE WORTH CELEBRATING?' BECAUSE WE ALL HAVE A CIVIC ROLE TO CONTRIBUTE MEANINGFULLY TO MOTHER ZAMBIA...

WHAT ARE YOU LITERATE IN?
HOW CAN YOU HELP OTHERS ACQUIRE THE KNOWLEDGE YOU HAVE?
4th March, 2021
By being part of the literacy Campaign, young people acknowledge the power of daily knowledge acquisition that brings about sustainable solutions to recurring problems. They are not looking for solutions; they are the solutions! Join the Campaign! If it is worth learning about, we are here to make it easy for you to learn!
3rd March, 2021
During one of our online discussions a QUESTION was raised as to what needs to be done to improve the reading culture among youths and Christine, a 19yr old member of Kaluba Foundation gave the submission below.
It was thus concluded that if information about Climate change, the national youth policy and other youth relevant information can be presented in formats that are more youth friendly like short explainatory videos and songs aside from the traditional ways ( written formats) young people could then take more interest in learning about these aspects that require their urgent participation if we are to foster change.

1 March 2021πΌ
Today Marks the beginning of our Literary Campaign ahead of the international youth day celebrations on March 12, 2021. As a way to celebrate this day, Kaluba Foundation is staging a Literacy Campaign to raise awareness of the importance of reading or acquiring first hand information as young people potentially able to enact change in society.
It has been noted with concern that although one of the objectives of documents like the National Youth policy is to have 'an informed young people' this is crucial to achieve if the person in picture does not play their part in knowledge acquisition. As Kaluba Foundation, we commend all young people that have cultivated a good reading culture and are therefore able to contribute to national development in one way or the other. We believe however, that more can be done in ensuring this culture extends to more youths at different levels of society.
Education Is beyond the four corners of the classroom. Much needs to be learnt to necessitate civic participation
