Teacher Empowerment Multi-Purpose
Cooperative Society Ltd (TEMCOS) is a
Cooperative formed with a goal of financial
Emancipation for teachers. It is aimed at
running projects for the teachers and by
the teachers which will ascertain financial
Emancipation for its teacher members.
The Cooperative has been formed after
a careful analysis of the livelihood and
ecology of teachers which revealed that
most teachers are highly indebted and
living in serious financial shackles where
they are thriving on chronic borrowing.
The route cause to this has been found to
be lack of productivity among teachers
which busks in lack of capital and financial
literacy. To change this course, TEMCOS
has been formed to tap into the potential
of the teaching fraternity and is open for
everyone in the teaching fraternity who
desires financial Emancipation to come on
board.

BENEFITS
A. You become an investor, who will buy shares
in our cooperative by contributing only a
K166.67 per month for 12months (total K2000).
With this investment, you won’t need to make
any deposits until 2026.
B. The shares you buy entitles you to register
a next of kin and to also be having a share in
the profit the cooperative makes through
dividends. In an instance you pass on, your next
of kin will continue getting dividends on your
behalf.
C. If you are a business person you stand a
chance to be linked to teachers across the
country to help sell your commodities.
D. If you have production business, you get
linked to TEMCOS local and international
markets so that you are able to export together
with TEMCOS products.
E. If you are yet to be employed, you stand a
chance of benefiting from TEMCOS online
academy which gives platform for teachers to
make extra income.
F. If you are a farmer, you stand a chance to
benefit from TEMCOS stakeholders Outgrower
schemes.
G. Access to traditional land as TEMCOS has
traditional leaders as stakeholders.

How to become a Member
Government Payroll
Fill and sign in our PMEC stop order of K166.67
to run for 12months.
Private, Unemployed and Retired
Deposit K166.67 per month for 12 months
using the bank details provided at the end.
Note that you can deposit directly from MTN
or Airtel Mobile money.
Membership, Admin and shares. K166.67
monthly deposits for 12 months amounts to
K2000 broken down
