Carbon monoxide poisoning is a life-threatening emergency that occurs after breathing in excessive levels of carbon monoxide fumes.It is a tasteless, odorless, and colorless gas and victims are usually unconscious before they realize they are being poisoned. It can be produced by fires and appliances that burn gas, wood, oil or Charcoal.
Cases of Carbon Monoxide poisoning increase in the Cold season and this usually results from using a Brazier/ firewood indoors. Symptoms include; headache, weakness, dizziness, Nausea and vomiting , Rapid heartbeat and Shortness of breath.

NB: Do Not Use a Brazier Indoors without proper ventilation, it’s dangerous and can lead to death. It’s actually even more dangerous to Pregnant women and children.
If you suspect Carbon Monoxide poisoning, rush to the hospital.

Tinea versicolor is a relatively common skin disorder. It is a fungal infection of the skin. Conditions that can promote its development include; heat and humidity, having a weak immune system , pregnancy, oily skin, and application of oily lotions and creams.Treatment is with Topical creams and Oral medications.
However, in many cases, individuals have repeated infection and need relatively long term ORAL drug treatment.

Development of hypertension (High BP) during pregnancy is associated with high levels of death for both the mother and baby. Make sure you take note of your Blood pressure on every antenatal visit. If you already have blood pressure before your pregnancy, make sure your blood pressure is managed.
Hypertension during pregnancy is manageable and a lot of its complications can be avoided if the blood pressure is properly managed.

Be that as it may, People often end up drinking way more than they intended to without realizing that their judgment and coordination are being compromised. Ultimately , this situation creates a false sense of security that is responsible for making people engage in risky behaviors like wanting to drive home while intoxicated, participate in binge drinking, etc. Additionally, this puts users at higher risk for alcohol poisoning, alcohol overdose and participation in risky behaviors.

Lifestyle modifications such as salt restriction, low alcohol intake, cessation of smoking , regular Exercise and weight loss coupled with MEDICATION are key in reducing complications that come with hypertension.

Yes you are right , Too much of water can actually kill you. This condition is called “Water Toxicity”. Typically occurs in water drinking competitions and excessive rehydration after exercising. It is also seen in people with a Psychological condition where they crave water excessively due to a persistent sensation of thirst.
This excessive water causes the brain to swell and ultimately leads to death.

I must mention that water toxicity in normal circumstances is rare because your body has mechanisms to deal with excessive water.

Failure to conceive has been associated with marital problems and conflicts, and has serious implications for the mental and social well-being of those involved. There are different causes of infertility involving both the Male and the Female in a sexual relationship. While infertility is relatively common , absolute infertility is RARE meaning, There’s a very HIGH chance that if a couple ( both the male and the female) is adequately evaluated a SOLUTION can be found. My advice is, if you are a couple struggling with failure to conceive , see a doctor , typically a specialist , and be evaluated as a couple.

There are a number of reasons why you can recurrently lose your pregnancies. Depending on how far you are in your pregnancy the causes can be different.The commonest reason is because your unborn baby isn’t developing properly so the pregnancy cannot continue, this usually happens very early in pregnancy.
My Advice is, immediately you lose your pregnancy you should go to the Hospital , not the clinic because the clinic can only do so much for you. See a Doctor, try to find out why you lost pregnancy and be guided. Usually your next pregnancy should be monitored almost immediately you know you are pregnant. Different interventions , depending on what might have caused your previous Miscarriage, can be utilized to help you carry your pregnancy to 9 months. The solution might be as simple as just taking a pill everyday or just controlling your BP. The point is , go to the hospital and be helped.

These doses are typically a month apart and NOT recommended to be taken when your pregnancy is less than 12 weeks ( 3 months).
