One of those times I actually feel bad for an actor.
Jonathan Majors' verdict is guilty! I honestly think that the verdict for this case would have been quite different under other factors, but unfortunately it is what it is.
What do I think? Only with time will the truth will come out, but for now, we can only watch. I honestly empathize with Majors and do hope he is able to get past this, and continue on his trailblazing career as an up and coming 'A' list movie star.

Should Pastors Be Honored by Women More Than Their Husbands?
So, those of you who have been following this page know my position when it comes to servants of God (Pastors, Prophets, Papas etc) and their mediation between God and the sheep.
I believe they are facilitators, but they are not mediators. Huge difference! π€¨
Now, sometime back (about two years ago), a picture (attached - first image) has been going round showing a woman kneeling before her pastor and the caption states...
"This is how 90% of African women act before their pastors (daddy) who doesn't provide for them... but they will come back home and become a lion in front of their husbands who provides virtually everything for them - please be guided!"
That is an interesting statement.
Firstly, social media being what it is, I learned that the two are a couple, as in husband and wife, so that even negates the false message and I don't see anything wrong with it.
Whilst I don't really want to discuss the merits and demerits of that saying, a colleague sent me the following below.
πππππππ
===================
What do you mean pastors don't provide?
Pastors provide a lot spiritually. We labor more for these people in the Spirit than even their husbands. Unless you don't understand pastoral work and ethics.
These people though provided for by their husbands, they come with sicknesses and challenges that husbands, hospitals, parents psychologist and money have failed to provide solutions.
But God through his ordained servants, will touch that very woman and wipe out her worries forever.
Sometimes we even provide material things to our flocks who do not just need prayers and counselling but needs a certain need met.
The best way is, women should be instructed with emphasis, by us Pastors to be submissive to their husbands in all ways. They must love and take care of their husbands in all angles of matrimonial requirements. but they must give double honour to us who labor in the word and Spiritual realms concerning their lives.
Don't forget that as a man of God you represent God to these people. You instruct them and make them understand who God is and what is expected of them. We make them know how to stand on their feet and overcome the enemy and other challenges of life, we train them to live by the word which transforms their whole being such as marriages, careers and even that so-called providing husbands and children inclusive.
That's why they call us daddy, or the now abused word Papa. It's because they see the function of the father figure in us. Some marriages are standing and are successful today because there is a man of God laboring in prayers and counseling and even financially.
In as much as there are fake shepherds abusing and milking the flock. Let it be known that there are also genuine shepherds who give it all to the flock. Shepherds who are ready to die for the flock given by God in their care. Yes there are men of Gold and men of God who sometimes are not even appreciated.
Pastors provide more than the husbands!
I submit βοΈ

This One Thing will Distinguish Genuine Christians from Religious Ones - You'll Be Shocked!
A reflection by Rev Walter Mwambazi
Many desire and some possess some of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, including speaking in tongues, prophesying, working of wondrous miracles, mountain moving faith that makes the impossible possible.
However, I dare say, the greatest sign of true Christianity has never been the above, but one powerful thing alone, that being genuine love.
By the way, note that love is not some feeling (butterflies in the stomach - that's infatuation which wears out quickly). Instead, love is best demonstrated - by actions - not words!
True love has 16 profound attributes as listed by Paul in 1 Cor 13. We ought to be reminded daily in our walk with God and for yours and my sake, I list them below.
Two things love is
ππΎ Love suffers long - It will endure patiently for a long time
ππΎ Love is kind - It always extends charity and is of a good nature
Eight things love is not
ππΎ Love does not envy - Ever willing that others are preferred before themselves and celebrates the success of others
ππΎ Love does not parade itself - Can happily do things anonymously, never seeking limelight for works of charity
ππΎ Love is not puffed up - It is never arrogant or self-focused. It has no pride and is not big headed
ππΎ Love does not behave rudely - It is well mannered, courteous and mindful of other's feelings
ππΎ Love does not seek its own - It is others-centered, looking out for others before self
ππΎ Love is not provoked - True love exercises restraint and will not lash out in anger on account of provocation
ππΎ Love thinks no evil - It puts away the hurts of the past instead of clinging to them.
ππΎ Love does not rejoice in iniquity - Wants the best for others all the time and will not color others badly
ππΎ Love rejoices in the truth - It stands with and on truth because it is pure and good
Four more things love is
ππΎ Love bears (covers) all things - It is ready for any kind of challenge and suffering but stays strong and will keep going on
ππΎ Love believes all things - It chooses to always believe the best of others
ππΎ Love hopes all things - It has confidence in the future, not pessimism
ππΎ Love endures all things - It never gives up, but keeps bearing, believing and hoping throughout without relenting
ππΎ Love never fails - Ultimately, love will triumph!
Now I want you to do something profound, why? Because most reading this will say, this is impossible! There is no way one can continue to express love as taught here in the face of the evil this world can spew out at people.
Whether in marriage, in ministry, in business, in life generally, this matter of love towers above all else! It is love which is the true badge of honor for a Christian. If you do not possess these and manifest these, you are not a genuine Christian indeed.
So, what do I want you to do? How do we show how powerful all this is? Replace the word "love" with "Jesus" for that is what God is, He is Love!
See how profound that whole passage becomes? Now, Paul said, "imitate me and as I imitate Christ!" If we claim to be Christians, let us manifest true love - let love lead!
May God enable us through His Precious Spirit to manifest these daily in our own lives and be counted as genuine Christians and not hypocrites.

I Appreciate what this Man does for Zambia and our Communities, VERY FEW have his mindset. he wants better for Zambia ,he does what MOST Zambians won't do, he puts his LIFE on the line.
He is NOT a chancer like most of your Influencers and neither am i saying he is Perfect, if i can count the FEW times i may have disagreed with him in my heart , they definitely outweigh the many times I cheered for him. so I will Trash my Petty disagreements.
He rides hard for what is right in our streets
But he will also leave me in stitches on the floor laughing hard with
his street Family, after a hard day of work.

Three Pertinent Things Christians Should not be Ignorant About (According to Paul)
βπΎ Donβt be ignorant of Godβs plan for Israel (Romans 11:25)
βπΎ Donβt be ignorant of spiritual gifts (1 Corinthians 12:1)
βπΎ Donβt be ignorant about the Second Coming of Jesus and the eternal state (1 Thessalonians 4:13).
Sadly, many Christians are ignorant on these exact points.

Planning on starting a business? Never borrow to start - instead start small with whatever you have right now!
β Weddings (An event that has no bearing on the longevity of marriage). Pay for whats affordable instead!
β Car (A deteriorating liability). Unless it increases your productivity, dont borrow for it - ever!
The two gravest sins we struggle with as Christians daily. #1. Unforgiveness #2. Pride π² The first we all know we have it, the second creeps on us unawares making it the gravest sin of all! ππΎββοΈ Lord grant us grace to overcome these! π₯ΊππΎββοΈ

Social Guidance Mercenaries for Hire - The Dilemma of Guidance for Money
A rant by Rev Walter Mwambazi
Let me be blunt - there are four individuals who have now become "social guidance mercenaries" for hire. These are "banachimbusas" and "bashibukombes", "marriage pastors" and "ordaining bishops.
Let me explain...
If there is one thing that has got me seriously concerned, it is the recent trend where certain social pillars that helped guide young people into the next phases of their lives well are no longer embedded within their institutional structures but have become "freelance" and operate like consultants.
Now, there is nothing wrong with consultancy per se - I mean - I am one myself! So, no I am not condemning consultancy - that is a cardinal component that provides much needed advisory services within society.
Instead I speak of very important individuals whose function is to provide much needed guidance within the rigidity of institutional structures.
Unfortunately, this no longer applies.
So, lets examine each one...
βπΎ i) Banachimbusas and Bashibukombes
This position is very sacred in that these are supposed to be connected to those getting married in a very real way. They must know them and therefore determine if there is "readiness" for the commitment which comes with marriage.
Unfortunately today, they are available to anyone willing to pay. The teaching is therefore superficial and doesn't really address underlying points of concern.
Further, if it is known and seen that either both or one of those being guided are not ready, these won't say it, instead opting to just run down a check list β
and conclude, even when they know this could end up in disaster and divorce.
This is plain unethical.
βπΎ ii) Marriage pastors
This is one where I am very concerned. How does someone counsel people they don't know? And what if issues are discovered - does the wedding get put off until those issues are resolved?
Unfortunately today people would rather hire a pastor and have the whole business done with. No wonder so many couples are heading to divorce court - they just aren't well prepared.
In short, another check β
on a long list of "to do's".
Genuine churches place a period (between six months to one year) in which the couple attend service consistently and also under go counselling to ensure the chances for problems are minimized.
But since we now live in a microwave generation, they would rather just get it over and done with so that they rush into marriage.
Disaster awaits such.
βπΎ iii) Ordaining bishops
This for me is the scariest. π³
In a typical church with proper systems the process is that one gets saved, undergoes discipleship (for a considerable period of time), then serves in ministries within the church, then gets embedded under a leader, runs with this until they prove capable and only then are they considered for ordination.
Usually these pastors would also be required to undergo some form of training depending on that denomination.
Unfortunately so many today are plain stubborn, puffed up with pride and operate in grave error picked up from too much Christian Television (and Social Media Pastors) and so cannot endure discipline under their church.
They then run off, start their own ministries and seek a "bishop for hire" to ordain them. These bishops do not bother with checking the backgrounds of these wannabe clergy to determine their soundness and just proceed with the ceremony.
This is why we see a breakdown in institutional integrity and also a weaker caliber of either couples, marriages and especially clergy (independent churches).
I pray that we get back to the basics and the respect of well founded stronger institutions that can better protect their integrity.
Selah π€
Your state as a genuine standing Christian can only be truly known when you are faced with AND OVERCOME temptation! The greatest tests come with wealth and power (women, pride and glory) π€ Anyone standing after this is TRULY STANDING!
βTake heed that you not be deceived. For many will come in My name, saying, βI am He,β and, βThe time has drawn near.β Therefore do not go after them."
Yehoshua Hamashiach, speaking on our times! π€¨
We live in a time when the proverbial "line in the sand" will be drawn between the APOSTATE CHURCH (overwhelming majority - goats) and the TRUE CHURCH (the remnant - sheep). The remnant shall undergo persecution from every side! Be strong, and take heed that you are not deceived!
β Kaloba (Buying money to buy groceries and food). Pay cash for these or eat dry bread and water instead
β Borrowing for consumables like groceries and food. Pay cash always - learn to budget well.
Joke of the Decade! π€£
Africa getting economic solutions from the West (IMF & World Bank) is like antelopes (the prey) seeking solutions from lions (the predators) for their predicament!
If there is one group as scary as political cadres, it's religious ones. Especially those who are mesmerized by a powerful and charismatic religious leader! I have gotten first hand backlash from these. And then when I say Africa's greatest challenge is religion, people argue with me! Sad day π’
It is warped to think that the solution to your economic emancipation can be given by those who exploit your ignorance (Africa vs the West & East)! That is like expecting the shepherd to free the sheep! βΊοΈ
The Kingdom of God comes with power to heal the sick, cleanse the leprous, work miracles, raise the dead and cast out demons! This is going on even as we speak! It is this power that separates the Kingdom from Religion! Hallelujah! ππΎ
