The Algeria Football Association (AFF) have announced that Algeria will take on Nigeria in a friendly on September 27 at the New Stadium, Oran, Algeria.

39 participants have completed a 5-day netball coaching and umpiring course in Mwanza district which was organized by the Malawi National Council of Sports (MNCS) with the aim of improving netball coaching and umpiring at the grassroot level.

The course started on Monday 15 August and finished on Saturday 20 August 2022. 25 females and 14 males took part in the netball developmental level coaching and umpiring training at Mwanza District Council.

🚨 yesterday was the deadline for all the teams that will participate in the 2022/23 CAF Inter-Club Competition 1st Preliminary stage to submit the list of their players to CAF for registration. ✍️

Through the office of football association of Zambia FAZ president Mr Andrew N Kamanga, Brenda K***a has shown her Character on how to run womens football as an administrator , today Zambia womens football is on the map, our women's football has really improved both our domestic football and on international assignments, today we are one of the best country that is doing well in terms of women's football, we are no longer under dogs. since brenda k***a took office of womens football national representative we have noticed that there are a lot of changes when it comes to zambia womens football, we have structured leagues in zambia which is doing well, the time brenda k***a took office we only had two proper structured leagues in Lusaka and copper belt provinces of Zambia and when brenda k***a came into the office she has expanded the league to 5 provinces, these are copperbelt, central, lusaka, northwestern and eastern provinces in all these provinces i have outlined we have proper organise womens football leagues and once she is voted in again she will expand the league to these other provinces, she has done it before and she will do it, looking at this unprecedented results that women's football has achieved previously, it will be wise if all womens football lovers can rely on the able leadership of brenda K***a.

Steve Bruce claimed his first win as Newcastle United boss as Joelinton's maiden Premier League goal earned a 1-0 triumph at Tottenham.

Bruce had seen his side slip to a 1-0 home defeat to Arsenal and a tame 3-1 loss to Norwich City in his opening two matches since taking charge.

Emery Wants Mustafi and Elneny to Leave Arsenal

Unai Emery says it is better Shkodran Mustafi and Mohamed Elneny leave Arsenal before the European transfer window closes, for the sake of their careers.

Neither player has been part of a matchday squad this season, and Arsenal head coach Emery indicated he has already told the pair they are surplus to requirements.

"We have some players and they know their situation. For example, Elneny and Mustafi, they know their situation in the squad," Emery said ahead of Arsenal's trip to Liverpool on Saturday.

"I want the players to be happy here, I want the players to be protagonists here, and last year, for example, with Mustafi and Mo, when they didn't play, they weren't happy.

"I spoke with them a lot of times last year in this position and I think it is positive for them to leave and to sign for another team where they can be protagonists, they can be happy and can continue their careers as players.

Barcelona Confirm Coutinho's Move to Bayern

Philippe Coutinho's season-long loan move from Barcelona to Bayern Munich has been confirmed by the La Liga champions.

The Bavarians will pay an €8.5m fee for Coutinho, as well as the player’s wages.

And the deal also gives Bayern the option to buy the Brazil playmaker at the end of the campaign for €120m.

Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola has insisted that he loves striker, Sergio Aguero despite their fight during his side’s Premier League 2-2 draw against Tottenham Hotspur at Etihad on Saturday.

Raheem Sterling and Sergio Aguero both scored to put Man City up twice over the course of the 90 minutes, although on each occasion, Mauricio Pochettino’s men found a way back.


Erik Lamela hit from range to cancel out Sterling’s early effort in the first half before a header from substitute, Lucas Moura tied the game at 2-2.

Guardiola and Aguero had a heated argument when the Argentine international was substituted shortly after Moura’s header.


However, Aguero felt the City boss was blaming him for the goal and argued with his coach as he made his way off the pitch.

Speaking on the development, Guardiola told reporters after the match: “Aguero believed I was upset with him for the goal we conceded.

“The goal we conceded was a corner. I wanted one on one movement.

“He thought I was upset with him. Emotion is part of our game. We talked after and during. He’s a guy I love a lot.”

Man City will take on Bournemouth in their next Premier League fixture on August 25.

*Neymar Left Out of PSG Squad Again*

Neymar has been left out of the Paris Saint-Germain squad for the second Ligue 1 match running as speculation continues over his future.

Barcelona have held talks over re-signing the Brazil forward this summer, and he is understood to be keen on returning to Spain.

Neymar was not included in PSG's team for their 3-0 win over Nimes last weekend and will not be involved away to Rennes on Sunday.

Speaking ahead of that game, PSG head coach Thomas Tuchel said of Neymar: "He won't be with us."

Tuchel added, while the 27-year-old trained with his team-mates on Saturday, he has still not fully recovered from the injury which kept him out of this summer's Copa America.

Neymar became the most expensive player of all time when he left Barcelona for PSG in 2017 for nearly £200m.
