He is a highly accomplished and influential professional based in Cameroon, whose impact stretches far beyond borders. With an extensive network of contacts in Cameroon, Africa, and across the globe, Dr. Akepe holds a significant sphere of influence.

Expert in cybersecurity with a specialization in Risks, Compliance, and Governance, Dr Akepe's passion for digital transformation and technology has driven him to excel in various fields. Currently is also serving as the Program Manager for CyberSecurity & Digital Governance at the Center for Research on Democracy and Development in Africa (CEREDDA). He is at the forefront of empowering youths and women with digital skills, opening doors to endless opportunities.

Dr Akepe's distinguished career journey also includes serving as an Advisory Board Member of Green Springs Digital University in Yaoundé, Cameroon, and Tellus Energy Company in South Africa. He is the Co-Founder and African Continental Director of the International Institute of Certified Forensic Investigation Professionals (IICFIP), where he not only brings together professionals in the field but also provides forensic investigation skills training.

With over 15 years of corporate and boardroom experience in forensic investigation, cyber security, consulting, and digital transformation, Dr Akepe has achieved numerous accolades and recognition across the African continent. In his previous role as Deputy Vice Chancellor at Copperstone University in Zambia, his strategic leadership in academics, research, and consultancy elevated the university's reputation and promoted international collaboration.

Dr Akepe's contributions extend beyond academia and professional institutions; he is committed to fostering inclusive digital transformation in Cameroon and Africa. Driven by his vision to bridge the digital divide, he aims to establish an innovative hub that empowers youth, women, and vulnerable populations with digital literacy and skills development. Through this, he believes in creating jobs, reducing misinformation, and ultimately leading to socioeconomic development and empowerment.

A Certified Forensic Investigation Professional and CompTIA Security+ Certified, Dr Akepe's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Forensic Accounting from Copperstone University Zambia, a Master's in Financial Management from Amity University India, and a Bachelor (Hons) in Accounting from the University of Buea, Cameroon. His journey in education began at the prestigious Bishop Rogan College in Buea, Cameroon, where he earned his GCE A & O Levels Certificates.
