PRAYER FOR A PEACEFUL ELECTION TOMORROW
Dear Lord,
As we go to the polls to decide who will be the next president and other national leaders. We covet your fervant prayers that we will go through peacefully and that God, in his sovereign power enable us to have the leader of His Choice.
Lord, please provide traveling mercies to all those Zambians, who are casting their ballots in various parts of our country, please keep them safe from all evil on their journey. Watch over their lives and preserve their souls. Be with them from the time they step out their front door and until their return.
We have prayed, we have committed this country in your hands and we have claimed safety and security and we have laid our future in God's hands.
But we have placed Zambia in God's hands.
In Jesus’s name we pray. Amen.

The ruling party has continued to gain numbers!
The latest to join the party were over 60 members from the opposition UPND in mount Makulu ward who have since ditched the Hakainde Hichilema led party citing poor leadership.
The defectors were received by PF member of parliament for Chilanga constituency Hon Maria Langa.

HERE ARE SOME HEALTH BENEFITS OF BANANAS.
CONTROL OF BLOOD SUGAR LEVELS AND METABOLIC SYNDROM
Diabetics would benefit from consuming under-ripe rather than overripe bananas, which have a glycemic index of 43 and 74 respectively and cause the blood glucose to rise to an average of 62 and 106 respectively. This is due to the increased starch content as compared to sugar content in under-ripe bananas.
CONTROL IF BODY WEIGHT
The high fiber content of banana makes it ideal as a low-calorie nutrient-dense food for overweight people. The resistant starch in under-ripe bananas and plantains can substitute for many calorie-rich starchy foods, and its benefits go beyond diabetes control to dyslipidemia correction and weight control. It also promotes satiety and reduces total energy intake.
PREVENTION OF KIDNEY TUMORS
While having 75 or more servings of fruits or vegetables per month is known to be protective against renal cell carcinoma by about 40%, this effect was most marked in the case of banana consumption.
PROTECTION AGAINST COLON CANCER
Resistant starch may also help reduce or dilute the concentrations of toxic substances such as f***l ammonia and N-nitroso compounds in the colonic lumen, but this is still under study. If confirmed, bananas would play a part in preventing colon cancer by reason of the lente carbohydrate (slowly digested carbohydrate).

DEVELOPMENT YA BWINO!
TURNING ZAMBIA INTO AN ELECTRICITY HUB FOR THE REGION BY INCREASING POWER GENERATION:
The Kafue Gorge Lower 750MW project will be commissioned this *FRIDAY, 23rd July 2021*
This will improve the quality of supply domestically, thereby having EXCESS power for export market.
We are also developing a 1,200 megawatts on Luapula river with Congo (DRC) and a 2,400 Batoka Gorge hydropower project between Zambia and Zimbabwe.
To ensure that Zambia exports power to other countries, We shall complete the ongoing projects:
1. Reinforcement of the Central Transmission corridor (2022).
2. Kolwezi/ Solwezi connector 2023.
3.Reactive power compensation (2024).
4. Mozambique/ Zambia Interconnector(2024)
5. Malawi/ Zambia Interconnector (2024).
6. ZIZABONA transmission line(2024)
7. The Zambia/ Tanzania Interconnector (2025).

PF Parliamentary Candidate for Chilanga Constituency Mrs. Maria Langa yesterday said Mount Makulu is the ruling party’s bedroom.
Mrs Langa mentioned that people in the area love both the Head of State and the party.
"This is the party’s bedroom,” she said.
She said the party knows the problems people are facing in the area adding that the caring Head of State is already providing solutions.
Mrs Langa also asked the electorates to “try us and see if we won’t bring development within these five years.”
And PF Chilanga Mayoral Candidate Mrs Anna Brown implored electorates not to be swayed away by the opposition who have no vision for the country.
Patriotic Front (PF) Lusaka Province Chairperson MCC Kennedy Kamba was amazed with how much people in Chilanga love and support the Head of State as well as the party.

In less than three years Chilanga Constituency has seen unprecedented infrastructure development, which includes the construction of MUNGWI ROAD Council Road, Chilanga's outlook has been transformed.
In 2018 the Patriotic Front ushered into Constituency office Hon Maria Langa P, on the promise what the government will do for the people of Chilanga Constituency largely anchored on changing the Socio-economic status of Chilanga residents.
The government in Chilanga has also demonstrated strong political will to increase access to education by upgrading a number of basic schools into secondary schools.
