Let us face this fact, with the growth of the digital space, children, now more than ever, need to understand their rights and responsibilities as they participate in this environment.

Meet Carol Makuya

A brand owner of Carol Lewis. She’s a fashion designer, one who enjoys the work she does and she has been doing it since 2016. Through her business, she’s managed to buy some machines.

“Now am independent and am focused on my goals and they keeps me moving, I manage to remain sane due to my work even though sometimes peer challenges do show up, they don't really affect me as bad as they used to, if not for my career and how it keeps me held up, I don't think I'd be free from the diversity that society throws at us the youths, especially the girl child” she says.

Her advise to her fellow youths who might be going through peer pressure, self-identity difficulties, and difficulties accepting themselves is,

"Create a relationship with God and focus on identifying and working on yourself and your goals then everything else follows, this will help you avoid or overcome peer influence, diversity, and mental health issues” she added.
