Luke 8:40-56, gives us two miracles which are intertwined together. The one for 12yr old girl has a spectacular teaching in raising the dead in man. These were actual real events that have been recorded by all the three synoptic gospels.

Firstly the father's name, Jairus means God enlightens which was purposely present in this event to enlighten us about the love of God.

Secondly Jairus was a ruler in the synagogue but he had to kneel down to Jesus which teaches us to humble ourselves in order to get our blessings.

Thirdly the dead girl teaches us about the abundant potential blessings that are deposited in us by God. A girl is a potential woman whom the Bible in many teachings portrays the church, the called out ones.

Fourthly Jesus only allowed 7 people to be in the house;
I) The dead girl who represents us or the blessings which may be dead but Jesus comes to bring to life again.
Il) Peter, the Rock who represents the law.
Ill) James, which means supplant or replace.
IV) John which means the gift of God or grace.
With law (Peter) it's nearly impossible for us to harness our blessings so God replaced (James) the law (Peter) with Grace (John) so that all of us can have the opportunity to benefit from the blessings of Abraham.
V) The father, who is the the source, represents God the creator.
VI) The mother, the comforter, John 14v16 represents the Holy Spirit.
Vll) Jesus himself the Christ.
In summary of the people present in the house, God in totality who created us and knows all the blessings and potential he has deposited us and is always present and ready to bring them to life. Since he is omniscience, all knowing, He knows that we can not harness our blessings under law so he replaced it with Grace, the unmerited favour through Jesus Christ our salvation.

Fifthly the man from Jairus' house told him not to bother Jesus because his daughter was already dead, and the people who remained outside started mocking them that the girl was already dead. This is what we face by people around us and the devil showing us all proofs that all in us is dead and there's nothing left for us anymore. But Jesus Christ has different opinion.

Lastly after resurrecting the girl Jesus told the parents to give her food, we need food grow and maintain our faith (Matt 4:4)
