TITLE: I AM A CHAMPION

I am not bound to win,
but I am bound to be true.
I am not bound to succeed,
but I am bound to live by the light that I have.

I must stand with anybody that stands right,
And stand with him while he is right,
part with him when he goes wrong cause that makes me a champion.

A champion, yes, I am a champion.
A great Poet JACKSON INSPIRE said,
"you are a champion for you conquered death at your birth."
Yes I conquered death and stand safe.

For you to be a champion,
You must not let your failures define you.
You have to let your failures teach you for that is my definition of a champion.
Don’t let trials, temptations and tribulations conquer you instead wake up and work hard for a true champion never quits.

Eliminate fear for it is the greatest obstacle,
Don’t fear failure instead open your books and let them collect dust from your shelves.
he dust is your fear,
fear can never define a champion but a champion can define fear and that is why we fight - in hopes of a day when we no longer need to.

A champion needs to fight, to fight for what’s right, to fight for a better future and settle the uncertainty for it only takes a true champion to be born of a champion.
For you to be a champion,
You must be walking down the right path and must be willing to keep walking,
eventually you'll make progress.

Work silently, and let your progress Announce you!!!

I can't begin to explain the journey and growth of my poetry without mentioning you.

Please Read to the End.

They say “Don’t let fear of what could happen, make nothing happen”. That being said, fear that comes from deep down your gut is inevitable and no matter what you do, you cannot ignore it. So befriend fear. Challenge fear. Give it a stare. And get over it.

In the same breath, it is fair to say, I am s**t scared of things in life – starting from horror movies to almost everything that challenges me to get out of my comfort zone. So I figured, it is okay to be scared.

1. Your comfort zone

That cushiony life that we get so used to. The world outside is beautiful and like elders say, it is also quite frightful. Manipulative, lack of innocence and most of the times, lack of positivity. It is okay to be scared to get out of that comfort zones, be it your home or a job that you know everything about. The world outside is welcoming too. Like I always keep saying, if it makes a better version of you, you should still take that leap of faith beyond your fright. You would be a hero in your eyes.

2. Losing them

They are important, your friends. But when required, it is of utter importance to confront them and appear extremely vulnerable to them, to confront them. They are called friends for a reason. And it is okay to be scared of losing them. But confront, speak your mind – at the end of the day, you will not die tomorrow with regrets.

3. Failure and Limits
Come what may do not let fear run the show for you. You have limitations, I mean, the great power made you like that. But hey, life shapes you when you push your limits beyond the boundaries. True, you may be born with limitations, but if you choose to die with the limitations, that is your real failure. So go out, spread your wings, walk the woods, fall down and hit rock bottom, because what you will become will pick you up.

4. The past
Now, this is a crazy one and s**t scary one. The past leaves a deep imprint on some corner of your brain which defines you and your thoughts. Don’t let it. Run towards fear and you will soon find it run away. Bury your past, forgive yourself, make new stories with maybe new fears – not every step of life will be the same. Be cautious, but be fearless.

5. Dream
Dream with your eyes open, please. Fail and get up, but don’t give up on dreaming. Ask for help, don’t be scared of getting turned down. But keep dreaming. Dreams will always exceed your skills (well mostly). And if it doesn’t, it is not big enough a dream. Move ahead, take steps, one at a time but move ahead – closer and closer towards your dream.

Feel your fear all the time. If not, it wouldn’t let you get bigger and better. It is okay to be scared, but do it anyway!

Title: patience pays

Being patient,
Will not make you a patient,
You are a coefficient,
At the moment,
You don't comment.

You might be honorable,
But not accountable,
You are not understandable,
And you blame it all

Don't rush,
Because you may crush,
Lose cash,
And you end up smashed 😂

You better comply,
And not apply,
Because you may supply,
What was meant to imply.

We trust in You because we know that Your mercies are new every morning, and nothing ahead of us will take You by surprise. We pray with thanksgiving in our hearts.

TITLE: THE INSIGHT

Don't despise the nut,
one day it will be a palm tree
just as Waves will rise on silent water.
it doesn’t matter the season
but you can be the reason they will take you to prison.

If you focus on bitterness,
you destroy your life
so be sure to bend but never break
If you are buying a cow,
make sure that the price of the tail is included because,
you will have to kill a cow to donate shoes.

A river is not contaminated by having a dog drink from it because not much is archived where everyone gives the others.
A wise man has his happiness in things that he avoided.
A close friend can become a close enemy when the monkey does not know which branch to swing on.

Aim high in your career but stay humble in your heart.
It is easier to wage war with wise enemies than be at peace with foolish friends,
You ought to question, if you do not understand.
There is no need like the lack of a friend they say two heads are better than one but I say three are just awesome.

Dear young me:
You have never had the resources to afford dancing video sessions. You have posters of your favourite Artists in your room . You perform other people's dance move before you could ever shoot a video of your own. You dreamed of better days and hoped that one day you could step on stages with some artists . You danced into people's dance videos even when you knew you had no opportunity to be someone's or a record label's dancer. At one point you got booed off your videos and on stage.
*FAST FOWARD, the big dreams you had are still far from being achieved but the truth is a lot has happened along the way. I have danced in one of the most raising star from southern Zambia in his music video Noelo Kamelo.

DEAR YOUNG ME, I am proud of where I am today but hope you are too. I hope you give me more time to achieve some of the things you dreamed of and I hope you know that at the end of the day it is God with the final say!
