1. To reduce the air conditioner’s workload, leave the windows slightly down.
2. When you first turn on your A/C, set it to maximum and use high blowing speed. This will cool your car down faster.
3. If the air from the AC smells stale, set the system to OUTSIDE AIR mode so as to refresh the air in the system.
4. Run the fan at medium for a few minutes after switching off the AC. This will prevent water dripping off from underneath the car.
5. Always switch the AC off first before switching off the engine.
6. Periodically replace the cabin air filter and spray anti-bacterial / disinfectants into the ducts and vents of the AC system. Refrigerant might need to be replaced periodically as well.
Remember, Speed Auto Body Shop’s ancillary services include Air Conditioner maintenance and repair.
