During the pioneering and efficient road rehabilitation, the Wirtgen WRC 240(i) crushed and processed the asphalt remains of the binder course and the underlying rock pack layer in situ in a single pass after the damaged asphalt course has been milled off. Relying on its innovative crushing and mixing technology, the WRC 240(i) then proceeded to create a new, homogenous base course directly on site, which will also be able to withstand high loads in the future.
