Our healthcare workers are at the forefront of the fight against the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) that is bedevilling the country. In this unprecedented crisis, they are putting themselves in the face of the virus. Our nurses and everyone else involved in patient care are rising to the challenge and caring for the most vulnerable members of our society.
Thank you so much for your tireless efforts and unwavering encouragement during this trying period. Thank you for becoming our nation's guiding light in the face of adversity. Your humility, compassion, and courage are greatly appreciated.

Many ideas flourish when transplanted into a different mind than the one in which they arose. We recognize the value of collaboration at NatPharm because great things are rarely accomplished by a single individual. They are usually carried out by a group of people, and when everyone is focused on the same target, teams work quicker, are more creative, and are more competitive. It takes a lot of effort to build a successful team.

Zimbabwe is grappling with a US$1.4 billion import bill in the health sector. MoHCC says the country should attempt to reduce its foreign dependency through the local production of industrialized products and medicines as well as increasing the demand for domestically produced medicines. The National Development Strategy 1 is now focusing on promoting domestic production of previously imported goods, services and medicines to foster industrialization. “The logic is simple: Why import foreign medicines and medical supplies when we could produce them locally.” NatPharm has pledged support to local pharmaceutical players to achieve that objective.
