Huni, Another Trendsetter From Murehwa
Situated some 80km outside the capital Harare, Murehwa has been a trendsetter in the history of Zimbabwean football. St Paul's FC was the first team outside of the major cities Harare and Bulawayo to win the league title in 1966 and remains the only team from a rural area to do so in Zimbabwe.
Ambitious Eastern Region Soccer League side JM Busha 54 FC is once again shifting the focus to Murehwa 56 years later. In Clifford Ralph Dzvairo, JM Busha 54 FC have the youngest coach in the league if not the country at just 22 years old.
While Dzvairo is making headlines from the dugout, he is being rivalried from the stands by another passionate lad from Murehwa, 20-year-old Tanaka 'FayAh' Huni who has never missed a match for JM Busha and has been on the road for all their away matches.
Huni, born and bred in Murehwa just like Dzvairo and most of the players at JM Busha 54 FC, risks his life hitchhiking during the night after the club's matches in Masvingo, Chiredzi and other distant venues back to Murehwa.
" You see I'm from Murehwa, born and bred there. Undiluted Murehwa boy, there is nothing that gives me greater joy than seeing some developments from Murehwa and JM Busha 54 FC is one of the things that give me great pride. That's the reason why I don't miss any JM Busha 54 FC match either home or away," Huni said.
" Most of my peers play for JM Busha 54 FC and it's something that makes me passionate that while my peers from Murehwa are uplifting the team and the area on the field of play, I do it from the stands. At times I will be alone on the stands far away from home but my lone voice is not drowned by the opponents and my small voice among the many opponents is a great motivation to the players."
With JM Busha 54 FC having been forced to temporarily play their home games away from Murehwa, Huni is always on the road either to Harare wherever the team might be playing. Although taxing financially, he is prepared to pay the price, hoping to be rewarded by the club bringing top-flight football to Murehwa.
" My fervent hope is that JM Busha 54 FC doesn't fold because of the challenges of playing all their games away from home now. It was nice having them play in Murehwa but because of some things beyond their control they are now playing away in Harare but we still travel to support them because they are our pride and joy. They brought employment and entertainment to Murehwa because almost all the players and the technical team are from the district and surrounding areas."
" I would also want to urge the sons and daughters of Murehwa to follow the team and give it support because it's a success will help uplift a boy or girl back in Murehwa at some stage. It might be far fetched but my dream is to travel across the continent with JM Busha 54 FC in the African Champions League just like I'm doing now in the Eastern Region League. The owners of the team are ambitious so anything is possible in life."

You left one important point , Madondo as Sports Organiser Chitimbe high ,was the first person to give Clifford Dzvairo Under 17 and 15 boys soccer team . The coach Dzvairo did quite well that year to a point that see Chitimbe high qualified for provincial competition however the school didn't make it to the competitions due to lack of funds .Dzvairo was also given Under20 boys 4 days before the zonal competition ,he managed to beat big schools including Magunje high school .That's why Magunje high had to consider as their school coach the following year since Chimusumba and Madondo of Chitimbe high had transferred .I see this man from the grass roots of his coaching career .We known him as soccer tactician ,his best formations .He sleep late working on his formation when he was stil Chitimbe high soccer coach .A very good polite man who has great skills in leadership .We used to used call him Mourinho because of his coaching style ,when Mourinho was still Chelsea manager for Drogba ,Essien, Barrack ,Lampard ,Kalou, Ramirez just to mention a few .
Indeed Dzvairo Cliff has a great positive passion in his work .He has a potential to coach bigger clubs even abroad .๐๐๐๐๐๐
Coach Cliff my Man!!!!
JAMES Makamba Busha has diversified his sporting interest into football following his acquisition of a ZIFA Eastern Region Division One club franchise.
JM Busha Investment Group recently bought PG Minerals, which was based in Uzumba Maramba Pfungwe, and owned by a Mutawatawa businessman.
The team was promoted from the Division Two in 2019.
It has been renamed JM Busha 54 Football Club and is now based at Murehwa Centre.
Murewa Prisons will be their home ground.
JM Busha has partnered National Athletics Association of Zimbabwe and over the years sponsored events such as JM Busha 54 races in the 21km, 42km, and 54km.
Coach Clifford Dzvairo said following the acquisition only the ownership has changed.
The players and the technical team remain the same.
โOnly the change of ownership, nothing has changed,โโ he said.
โWith the previous club, we didnโt have an executive but we now have one place, everything is going on well.
โOur relocation to Murewa, from UMP, is a plus to everybody although it has affected the fan base, but it is still a plus to the players and staff, since we are now owned by one of the best sporting organisations in the country.
โThey have been supporting us a lot, morally and financially, we are creating a new fan base. Murewa and UMP are one place, they are close to each other.
โThe people in Murehwa knew us as PG, so we are trying to get their support in numbers.โ
Top football has been rare in Mashonaland East.
โWe are working with the target of getting the promotion into the Premier Soccer League, that is the first target,โโ the coach said.
โWe are also trying to cover the gap, we have the Mutoko, Murehwa UMP, Juru community, and there hasnโt been Division One football, in all those areas, for a while.
โWe are a big community.
โWe will have Under-23 players, we are trying to work very hard and hope one day our dream will be realized

Young Coach On A Mission To Bring Premier League Football To Murehwa
At 22, he should be making headlines on the field of play but Murehwa born and bred Clifford Ralph Dzvairo is making headlines from the dugout where he is one of the youngest football coaches in Zimbabwe.
After being recently appointed head coach of Murehwa based Eastern Region Division One League club JM Busha 54, Dzvairo has set his sights on bringing Premier Soccer League football to rural community next year.
" I know it's going to be a tall order because of the competition in the league but all the same we are here to compete not to make numbers so our goal and vision remains the same," Dzvairo said.
" We want to bring happiness to our Murehwa community by winning promotion to play in the Premier Soccer League next year. We know it can be achieved because before independence St Paul's Musami from the same region did it and even went further to win the league title, so we derive inspiration from them."
" We have a very supportive and ambitious executive, which cuts out our work as the coaches. The community is also solidly behind us, so we can't wait for the games to begin."
Dzvairo said he is unfazed by critics who questions his age and lack of experience.
" Yes experience is valuable in life because you draw some lessons from it but if you look I have been speaking in plural terms because I believe in team work. We are a united family at JM Busha 54 and that is a big plus for us. It's not just about myself alone but the whole set up from the owners of the club, executive, technical team, players and the Murehwa community."
Dzvairo who was an aspiring footballer, started coaching at the age of 16 after an accident in a scotchcart ended his playing career. He coached schools in Murehwa at the NASH Schools tournaments before graduating to some Division 2 sides in Harare.
He also worked at Division One side Surrey FC as an assistant coach to Tichaona Wesere during the 2019 season.

So this was in 2018 at Oriel Boys High School when i was doing my ZIFA LEVEL 2 License. In this picture it was a Friday early morning when i was polishing my presentation i was to make before the whole class including our tutors Sir Nelson Matongorere and Sithetheliwe Sibanda "Kwinji". The look on that face, nervous Oh no, it was full of confidence. Rubbing shoulders and sharing the class with legends like Evans Gwekwerere, Tendai Hove and Pride Tafirenyika in the previous class of 2017 gave me so much confidence and now i was in the shadows of Hardlife Zvirekwi, Rudo Neshamba, Felistas Muzongondi, Trymore Mutisi, so i had nothing to fear. This is a historic place which has an emotional attachment whenever i pass through or visit it.....This was extracted from the book "Working On The Dream:A Biography of the life of Dzvairo Clifford" which is still work in progress.Kwinji Sibanda Evans Gwekwerere
So since my appointment as the Head Coach of this great team, I have been learning every day. But of all the lessons I have been going through, maturity has been the greatest of them all.
You know being only 22 yet leading an organization with people far older than myself both from the players and the management team, requires a great deal of maturity. I had to hide my age from my players so that at least they can respect me. Besides that, I had to act like a mature person in whatever I do and in solving every situation we faced together as a team. To me how I solved those situations and how I provided solutions to every problem my team faced proved to me that maturity comes with responsibility rather than age.
Thank you to PG Minerals FC for confiding in me as the best person to take your organization to another level.

So not so long ago in 2017 i ran away from home to attend my first coaching license. It was like going into an unknown territory but i had to do it since that was what my heart wanted. After completing the course, i became the youngest certified football coach in Africa at the age of only 17 years. After that, i went on to complete my Level 2 license, a sports medicine certificate, a sports management qualification among other qualifications i hold. But what stood above all these is the mentorship am receiving from the one and only Desmond Kupakwashe Mukurimbira. What i wanted to do was only being a coach, but he came and showed me how to be a complete coach. A complete coach who is respected in his country and abroad, a coach who becomes the face of big brands, a coach who knows how to commercialize his passion and a coach who treat himself as a brand. So with my eyes being opened, i made my first appearance on Star FM pushing that brand amcoachcliffy to the world. I was amazed by the response and i wanted more. Today our focus is on print media and we made it. Our story made it to the HMetro publication of 19 August 2021. Thank you all those who are part of my journey from one of the world's poorest communities to the top of the world. One might wonder which top of the world i mean, am now part of the world's youngest coaches cohort and African youngest coaches cohort as well. Now i want to use my influence to fight early child marriages which are a common thing in the community i come from. I want to be that voice which speak on behalf of those young girls and boys. I want to be a good reference which gives hope that dreams are achievable nomatter how big or how bad is your background. Thanks to you all for your support. Even you, you can achieve your dreams nomatter the background.
