Beginning of 2022, we shared a story about Chiwashira Primary School located in Featherstone with the link below. The rural school is a beacon of hope for children in the surrounding community but is in a dire state in-terms of infrastructure. We managed to go back with stationery for the children and teachers and school uniforms thanks to your continual support.
With around 200 students and 9 teachers , the school has no adequate classrooms. Some have blown off rooftops, and some unusable. The existing accommodations for teachers are substandard and fail to provide comfortable living space. By raising funds, we aim to renovate and construct suitable and safe classrooms for the children and suitable living quarters for our dedicated educators.
Every contribution, no matter the size, will bring us one step closer to achieving our goals and transforming the lives of these deserving students. Furthermore, we invite you to share this campaign with your network, family, and friends who may also be passionate about empowering underprivileged communities through education. Together, we can make a substantial impact and uplift the spirits of these children. Should you have any questions or require additional information, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We are more than happy to provide any clarifications you may need.
We are very thankful for individuals who continue to bring in clothes for our children. We managed to donate this lot to Chinyaradzo Children's Home in Harare. Let us "Spread The Love" by clothing someone in need this winter season.
Thank you to all those who keep on supporting us with clothes for donations. We delivered these to Alpha Cottages Masvingo ,Zimcare Trust Masvingo and Matthew Rusike Children' s Home Harare. Your contributions go a long way .

Let us empower the kids together.
Seven years ago , l did Temporary Teaching at Chiwashira Primary School in Featherstone. When my term was up the deputy head said” ma’am when you go in the industry please remember us “ . I told myself one day l will go back and assist these kids. Managed to donate clothing items and 1000 ball point pens for a start. Was overjoyed to see some of my pupils who were in ECD at that time. Also encouraged the kids to stay focused and to dream and work towards their desires because whatever they put their minds on they can achieve.
The sad part is the teachers quarters burnt down and the teachers are now living in sub standard rooms each. The only development at the moment is an unfinished block which the parents are failing to complete. The school needs assistance with educational resources and infrastructure development. Those willing to assist please get in touch.
