HOW ITS MADE ❓🌝

Red common bricks are made using a process that involves several steps:

1. Mining and Storage: The first step in making red bricks is mining the raw materials – mainly clay or shale. These raw materials are then stored and allowed to weather for several weeks to break down any large clumps and remove any unwanted substances.

2. Preparation: The clay is then prepared by grinding and screening to remove any stones or chunks. Water is then added to the clay to make it soft and pliable. This mixture is then shaped into a rectangular block known as a "slug."

3. Molding: The slug is then placed in a mold, where it is shaped into a brick. The mold can be either hand-made or machine-made.

4. Drying: The molded bricks are then dried to remove any excess moisture. This is usually done in a drying oven, where the bricks are heated to a temperature of around 100-200 degrees Celsius.

5. Firing: The dried bricks are then fired in a kiln at a temperature of around 1000-1200 degrees Celsius. This process, known as vitrification, hardens the bricks and gives them their red color. The high temperature causes the clay to partially melt, forming a strong, glass-like structure.

6. Cooling and Packaging: After being fired, the bricks are allowed to cool before being packaged and shipped to construction sites.

The exact process can vary depending on the specific type of brick being made and the techniques used by the brick manufacturer. However, the basic steps outlined above are common to most brick-making processes.
