Ahoy , how about we host a Hacktoberfest
meetup/s? How does that sound? In September we talked about Intro to Git, GitHub and OSS at the Byo Chapter Meetup, thinking we can get more people into OSS.
We have a couple of local Open Source projects which we think will help people learn but while also building life changing products for the community. These events will help you qualify for the official limited edition Hacktoberfest shirt and some swag too.

Hello,
We are sad to inform you that we have to postpone the forloopZimbabwe Byo meetup, which was due to be held on Saturday August 17th at The TechVillage.
Following the unfolding events and the activities starting Friday 16th August , it was determined that it would not be wise to host an event in the CBD on the day. We did attempt to come up with an alternative nearest date but we thought this would be too impractical at such short notice.
We would like to apologise for the short notice and most of all for the cancellation especially to all who had already made plans to attend our event. Unfortunately, these were circumstances, which were beyond our control, but we intend to make the next meetup date even more spectacular so we hope you can join us then.
