🔵 FAMIGLIA ISTRIANA - A MIGRANT’S STORY 🟡

🤩 On July 14th, we celebrated a splendid cultural event at the Club, promoted by the in collaboration with , with the participation of the Alabarda Club Adelaide.

The event started with “Genny’s Memories - The Weight of Memory,” a heartwarming documentary about Genoveffa Covassi, an Istrian exile from Orsera, followed by the inauguration of a historic exhibition about Italian exiles from Istria, Dalmatia, and Venezia-Giulia.

This unique exhibition displays objects depicting the exodus story and aims to preserve the significant memories of migrants who left Istria, Dalmatia, and cities like P**a, Rijeka, and Zadar in the aftermath of World War II.

🇮🇹 RADIOTHON - WE ARE ONE 🇮🇹

Last Wednesday, a unique and unprecedented event took place at the Club: the annual fundraising night of , the best radio station in SA.

For the first time ever, five regional clubs collaborated to provide a special four-course dinner service, accompanied by entertainment and many organised activities. With 45 volunteers involved, we welcomed about 400 guests to our historic Primo Carnera Hall.

The Fogolar community extends our most sincere and heartfelt thanks to the people, sponsors, friends, and supporters who made this event possible.

🥂Fogolar Furlan offers two excellent venues for hire with catering and bar services for all types of functions.
Both venues have modern kitchens and experienced Italian staff.

🎂 They are popular for weddings, birthdays, private parties, corporate, dancing events and more.

👉🏼Disabled toilets are on the ground floor, and a 13-person lift and wide stairs provide access to the first floor.
👉🏼The large entrance foyer is ideal for drinks and small bites.
👉🏼Ample parking is available for up to 90 vehicles, and the alfresco courtyard is perfect for smaller functions and outdoor events.

THE OSTERIA is a ground-floor hall licensed for up to 200 people, featuring a kitchen, bar, air conditioning, a sound system, microphones, speakers, and two data projectors.

THE “PRIMO CARNERA” FUNCTION HALL on the first floor is licensed for up to 500 people and includes bar and kitchen facilities, evaporative cooling, gas heating, a sound system, microphones, speakers, three data projectors, a stage for exhibitions, and themed lighting.
