Welcome to our newest physio Tyler.

Tyler hails from South Australia and is excited to explore the south west of WA.

He’s a keen surfer and footballer and takes special interest in neck, shoulder and sporting injuries.

He has advanced training in clinical Pilates, dry needling and strength and conditioning.

We hope you have all had a wonderful Christmas.

We are taking a short break this year to rest and spend time with our family and friends.

We will be back in the practice from January 2, 2024.

Meet our massage therapist Jemma.

Jemma has a diverse skill set with training as a massage therapist, group fitness, yoga and Pilates instructor.

Her massage and experience are beneficial in addressing chronic pain, muscle tightness and imbalances using deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy and myofascial release techniques.

It’s been a pleasure to work with players again this year.

Our Physiotherapist Dan is back from his month long trip to Italy.

He had a wonderful time and has transitioned seamlessly back into his clinical work.

Meet our new physio Peter Nazzari 🤌

Originally from Kalgoorlie, Peter developed an interest in Physiotherapy through his personal experience of 3 knee reconstructions while playing football.

He has gone on to study sports science and Physiotherapy, graduating in 2015.

He now has 7 years of experience in Sports and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy in Perth, Bunbury and Darwin.

Peter has a wide skill set and has developed special interest in low back, neck and knee injuries.

It’s been great to have one of our mentors in the clinic this week.

Mark Gibson is a Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist and post graduate level educator who provides expert opinion on complex cases. He visits Albany to assist with challenging compensable cases.

Mark consults out of in Rockingham and Pain Options in Perth.

Congratulations to Lower Great Southern Hockey and our super mum physio Annie on their 3rd place in finish in the state country championships on the weekend.

She’s back in clinic from Thursday.

Thank you for having us on board for this weekends NPL fixture in Albany. The boys put in a massive effort.

Meet our new Physio Sian⭐️

Sian is originally from Perth, and graduated from Curtin University in 2019. The beaches and bush of Great Southern beckoned and she moved down shortly after graduating, where she has worked exclusively in a private practice setting.

Sian has 10 years of experience working with sports teams as a trainer and physiotherapist and is currently Head Physio of the mens . She is passionate about team sports and is captain of the women’s Albany Sharks, plays A1 netball and enjoys strength & conditioning in the gym.

Sian believes in using a collaborative and holistic approach to help you achieve your goals, whether that be returning to sport or getting back to your daily walk. She particularly enjoys treating lower limb injuries and working with clients for pre and post operative rehab.

In her spare time you’ll find her playing sport, doing pottery or at the beach.

Today we see Kathryn off to retirement. Congratulations on a wonderful career and all the best for the future.

We are a busy private practice centrally located in beautiful Albany. Our facilities include ample free parking, large private treatment rooms, on-site pilates and rehabilitation facilities, and nearby access to community gyms and pools.

This position provides an opportunity for applicants to work in a flexible and rewarding manner with a caseload of predominantly musculoskeletal and sporting cases.

This role suits a new or recent graduate looking to further develop their clinical reasoning, manual therapy, and exercise prescription skills through mentoring and working with a close-knit and supportive team of highly developed and titled musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapists.
