With over 30 years experience running an integrated early years provision, Pen Green Research Base offers a range of professional development opportunities for practitioners working in the early years, health and social sectors. 🎓✨Student Success and Inclusive Growth: A Remarkable Achievement ✨🎓

We are thrilled to share the positive outcomes of our recent student data analysis, highlighting our ongoing commitment to inclusivity and educational equity. Over the past four years, we have observed several promising trends that reflect our dedication to providing opportunities for all students, regardless of their background.

Increased Enrolments from Disadvantaged Backgrounds: We are proud to see a significant increase in enrolments from students coming from the most disadvantaged backgrounds. This indicates that our initiatives to support and attract students from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds are making a real difference.

Broadened Access to Higher Education: More students from areas with traditionally low participation in higher education are now accessing our degree courses. This shift underscores our efforts to break down barriers and extend the reach of higher education to underrepresented communities.

Outstanding Academic Achievement: Our data reveals that students from disadvantaged backgrounds and those with disabilities are achieving higher awarded degrees compared to their peers. This achievement is a testament to the supportive and empowering environment we strive to create, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to excel academically.

Why don't teachers get supervision? 26/07/2024

Our own Felicity Dewsbery is currently working towards a PhD on an exploration of supervision in the early years and schools - such an important process. If done well can really support staff’s mental health and well being and explore the emotional labour faced in these systems

Why don't teachers get supervision? The increasing demands on teachers make it essential to look again at how everyone in the profession is kept safe and well, says Catherine Lawson
