Cawston’s love of art started at an early age painting wildlife, landscape and portraits. He has had successful exhibitions in the UK and Tanzania in Africa. He has spent a lot of his time living in Europe and Tanzania. Growing up in Thame Oxfordshire on a country estate where his parents worked. He has a great love of wildlife, so has spent time in Kenya and moved to Tanzania after gaining his Private Pilot's License where he hope to fly around Africa. In Tanzania he spent most of his time in the bush, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, with a base in Arusha where he had successful exhibitions of his wildlife collections. He has had collaborations with the charities, Born Free Foundation, Breakthrough Breast Cancer Trust and Help For Heroes by painting for them and donating works to them. Cawston is really known now worldwide for his highly innovative and unique Film Poster oil paintings, turning the classic film poster into fine art. His paintings are in the collections of Music Royalty, Theatre Producers, Actors, Sport Stars and business Royalty. Uniquely Cawston as an artist has his own art gallery, dedicated to his work alone, The Homarge Gallery based in Knightsbridge London, a few minutes’ walk from Harrods. Most of Cawston paintings are commissioned, he has been commissioned by clients to paint the 1937 Billboard poster of ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’, for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge (not by the Duke and Duchess) this billboard was created for the London premier of the film. There were only three of these billboard posters printed and only one damaged one is known to exist today, the size of these billboards were 20 x 9 feet. As soon as the news hit the internet, E News TV Film,[1] USA Today,[2] New York Post [3] and Vanity Fair [4] all contacted Stephen Cawston for more information. Josh Berger President of Warner Bros, commissioned Cawston to paint a piece as a wedding gift for Guy and Jacqui Ritchie Guy and Jacqui Ritchie. The piece was the poster for the new movie Guy had just finished, ‘The Man from Uncle’, it was delivered to Ashcombe Estate on the morning of the wedding.[5]

His greatest love, are Superbikes, but nearly had his arm amputated after a serious road accident on his Honda Fireblade.
