Today our team had the pleasure of attending the of Kingston Chamber of Commerce Future of Work summit. Every year this event is a really great chance to listen to really relevant and topical discussions.

Thanks to Jude Faultless for a brilliant talk on how to communicate more effectively. It seems such a minefield to work out you’re trying to say on social media and how best to put across your business. We thought the tips about how to think about what your potential client’s problem is and explaining how you might resolve it for them will really help in future.

Thanks also to PriceMaker Ltd for making us all think about how to present our pricing structures and some pricing pitfalls to avoid.

Today we celebrate International Women's Day with a celebration of some wonderful feedback for some of our amazing female workforce.

No. 5) Check your will is up to date, especially if you've got married. An out-of-date will is almost as bad as no will.

No 6) Most people shouldn't worry about inheritance tax (IHT), only one in 25 estates actually pay it.

No 9) A Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) makes it easier for someone to take over your finances & financial decisions if you can't.

It sounds like it was a very warm evening but perfect for a night walk through Kingston and the surrounding areas. Claire-Louise writes "Well, my mission was completed, and I finished the 13 mile walk (albeit my Strava app said 14 miles!! I did get lost at one point!) on Saturday night! Hooray! We raised a total of £400 for Kingston Hospital – thank you so much for all your donations! 😊 Please find below the evidence of the walk….. apologies for the disheveled photo…that was at the end of the race and my shins were on fire.
