It's been an exciting season for us as the Accelium International Mind Olympics came to an end about two weeks ago.

A total of 152 schools were registered from 21 countries. Superb!

Our celebrations are very much in order, as we celebrate precisely two schools in Nigeria that represented us well, emerging as one of the top 10 schools across the globe;

You are incredible, thank you for doing an excellent job, in your preparation for this competition all year round; in your efforts and investment in developing the young minds of the future.

Life threw Lemons at him and he turned them into Lemonade.

Calm and calculative David Nwadike from LauraStephens School,Lagos Nigeria, was undeterred by the challenges that surrounded him during the Accelium Olympics and was able to make it through the competition to become one of the top 16 champions from West Africa in 2020.

Taiwo Falabi a student of Dayford Academy, Ogun State Nigeria,was one of the 2020 Accelium Champions from West Africa, who developed strategic thinking skills using the Accelium Games. She was known for asking lots of questions that strengthened her decision making.

Celebrating the 2020 Accelium Olympics Champions from West Africa as we count down to the 2021 Olympics.

Today we celebrate NKECHI AKUBUIRO from St. Saviour's School Ebute-Metta, Lagos -NIGERIA.

Quiet and thoughtful NKECHI played in tournament 1 (for Grades 1 & 2) and could easily be underestimated at first. Very quickly though, one realizes this champion is bigger on the inside than she looks on the outside.

TOURNAMENT 1 focuses particularly on developing Teamwork, Questioning and Problem-Solving skills, and Nkechi excelled at these during the tournament.
