From indie folk to alt rock, Wiri Donna’s musical journey is nothing short of electrifying. Led by songwriter, guitarist, and vocalist, Bianca Bailey, featuring the incredible talents of Harrison Scholes (Arjuna Oakes, TOI), James MacEwan (Arjuna Oakes), and Elliott Dawson, this four-piece powerhouse has unparalleled energy.

In early 2022, Wiri Donna unleashed her debut EP, ‘Being Alone,’ described by Rolling Stone as one of the fiercest feminist releases of the year. Co-produced with James Goldsmith, tracks like “Being Alone,” “No Follow Through,” and “Big Pop” were highlights of the SRN Charts. The EP being a coming-of-age celebration that beautifully balances eternal optimism with raw, heartfelt emotion—a sonic journey everyone could relate to.

Wiri Donna are known for their emphatic live shows, having supported heavy hitters such as Fontaines D.C, Skegss, Mild Orange & The Beths and graced stages at Rhythm & Vines, Twisted Frequency, Tora Bombora, and TSB Festival Lights. Their captivating performances are a breath of fresh air, and it’s no surprise they were named finalists for the Taite Music Prize, Best Independent Debut.

Hearth is a theatrical whirlwind of sugar, sass, and silliness from Te Whanganui-a-Tara. Their thoughtful lyricism and captivating arrangements are accompanied by unparalleled stage banter. You’re in for a charming fusion of folk, rock, and jazz.

Since forming in 2021, the band has evolved from a trio to a five-piece. They have performed across the country at festivals such as Twisted Frequency, Welcome to Nowhere, and Great Sounds Great, as well as several headline shows in Pōneke. Hearth’s warmth, wisdom, and cheekiness is
infectious.

Telenova unveil their biggest tour yet with the Time Is A Flower International Tour. The tour comes alongside the announcement of their debut album ‘Time Is A Flower’ (out August 16th) and the release of brand new single, ‘Power’.

A vast international journey, The Time Is A Flower tour will see Telenova perform in venues across Australia, New Zealand, UK and Europe.

Taking their distinct brand of cinematic alt-pop to the dance floor, ‘Power’ is sleek, evolved disco with a shadowy twist, weaving themes of love, fear, and the pursuit of light into a lush, ornate track full of suspense and drive.

With influences ranging from Portishead and Massive Attack to Lana Del Rey and Mitski, the band creates a sonic landscape that is both familiar and refreshingly unique.
