As we have for the past two summers, The Howard School will be offering Orton-Gillingham (O-G) training at the end of July. The trainings are run by Christi Kubeck, Lower School Literacy Specialist and O-G Fellow-In-Training.
๐๐ฅ๐๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ซ๐จ๐จ๐ฆ ๐๐๐ฎ๐๐๐ญ๐จ๐ซ ๐๐๐ฏ๐๐ฅ (๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐๐ - ๐๐): Participants will receive intense instruction on reading development, atypical/typical brains, phonics, phonemic awareness, and effective strategies for dyslexic learners. Additionally, the course includes the effective and innovative use of technology to support the Orton-Gillingham approach.
