Kids in Motion Therapy Clinic is looking for a Pediatric Occupational Therapist. The hours are very flexible so you can work this around having a family or another job. If you want to eventually make this a full time job you can do that as well. Please respond to this or call 360-207-4434.

Join us for our 3rd Annual Marathon Fundraiser!

Complete a 5k, 10k, half-marathon, or full marathon any time between August 5th and 26th. Choose your location, day(s), attire, and companions! Upload photos and record your results on the registration page.

This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and will help us to continue to provide therapy services for kids in need.

According to the American Physical Therapy Association, "Inadequate physical activity results in an added $117 billion in health care costs in the U.S. and leads to reduced quality of life for millions of Americans. As we struggle to address a global pandemic, it’s more important than ever to encourage movement to help people manage pain and other chronic conditions, recover from injuries, and reduce the risk of future injury and chronic disease."

Kids in Motion Therapy Clinic is a local nonprofit that provides physical, occupational and speech therapy services to children in Whatcom County.

The Kids In Motion Therapy Clinic Board of Directors is looking for volunteer community members to join our team!

⭐️ Throwback Thursday to the Run, Roll & Stroll! We loved seeing all of your great photos! ⭐️

In honor of National Guide Dog Month, presenting Rocky, Certified Therapy Canine! Rocky was owned and trained by KIMTC Co-founder, Julia Creech.

Julia initially began training Rocky with the intention of him becoming a Certified Assistance Dog, but he had difficulty overcoming the distractions of the outdoors (someone has to chase for sticks!) when it came to completing his training. So Rocky switched gears and Julia took him through the training to become a Certified Therapy Canine.

Rocky had his breakthrough moment when he was invited to visit a young woman recovering from a coma in the ICU. After seeing how his kind & loving personality could assist patients, the hospital's Pediatric Occupational Therapist requested Rocky's presence in the Children's Neurodevelopmental Program. Rocky became the inspiration for Julia to establish the Kids in Motion Therapy Clinic that we know and love today.

Certified Therapy Canines are capable of providing unique affection, comfort, and stress relief to individuals. They are frequently used in hospitals, nursing homes, schools, and even court rooms!
