This is why you don't let your underage kids and their friends drink/party at your house. 3 sets of Boulder parents were indicted and will surely be sued for having "Served or permitted the serving of alcohol to any person under the age of 21 and aided or encouraged underage people to violate state laws" in relation to a 2022 prom party where one child left, drove drunk and crashed into another car killing 2 people. Parents often have good intentions having kids drink at home, but if the kids then go drink elsewhere and have issues, you could still be liable.
