Monday….where to start.
Show up, dressed and ready, focus on the lesson, get your reps, train. That’s the process. If you sit in the corner (excluding injury, sickness, or resting) you will not see success. In this world people expect a lot for free, however everything comes with a price, even the things seemingly free. No one gets better by only walking through the door, even if that is the first step. No one climbed a mount by getting to the base and starting at the top. Keep pushing, even when things get hard. Makes the journey worth the effort, the destination will come and go, but oh the journey, what a great adventure!!

I love what I do but what’s really cool is seeing people connect and reconnect in special ways. and have known each other before BJJ when Dylan was her student in school and made a drawing she found and showed him today. Small world in this sport. Be kind to those who you interact with!!!

What an awesome day!!! Thank you to each person who came out to support your teammates and bring an awesome environment for our belt ceremony today!! We appreciate each of you and your support for the academy and each other! Congratulations to each new level!!

Life will change, bad times don’t last and neither do good ones. All we can do is enjoy the day life throws at us. Grateful for another day to teach and coach my students. Seeing talent and creativity is one of the greatest things I see on the mats. Let’s keep the ball rolling!!

Proud of two of our big boys competing today at Newbreed! Thank you Dan for the FaceTime and pics!! had an awesome round with a brown belt and spent a lot of the rounds working things he’s been hitting in class. Colin as well, fought his way to gold getting through multiple challenges and performing his skills he has worked on the mats in the gym! Proud of you guys and your development. Monday comes regardless, see you on the mats!

Bittersweet as we say goodbye to as he relocates his family and advances his career path! We welcomed him into the purple belt ranks today as well and hope he finds success in his new journey as a in BJJ!! Congrats and safe travels moving this weekend!!
