As part of our nature study program we had so much fun gardening, planting vegetables and learning about the growing process. We enjoyed a delicious & nutritious Italian Brushetta on toasted bread made with the fresh tomatoes, swiss chard, cucumbers, basil, kale, and peppers we grew! How amazing is this?

🎶 Classroom 1A, our tiniest Early Learners explored the Music Studio in our Museum. From drums to maracas our littles were singing and dancing the whole day! Here at Imagine Nation the experiences are endless starting from as early as 6 weeks old.🪇🎶🥁

Our first family Pizza Party had a great turn out! A big thank you to the PAC for sponsoring this event and DJ Sunshyne for bringing the party together! Such a great way to end our 2024 school year! 🍕☀️

WOW WEDNESDAYS! Today our Early Learners had the greatest Magic Show! Thank you Justin Mazz Magic !

A huge thank you to CT Rent-A-Hen, LLC for this experience with our students. Our Early Learners eagerly waited 21 days for our eggs to hatch and were lucky enough to watch our first two eggs hatch! Special thanks to classroom 2B and Mrs. Rivera for keeping their cage spotless. We can’t wait for next year! 🐓🐣

FUN FRIDAY SLIME DAY! Classroom 2A students helped create all kinds of slimy fun. We had an orby ocean, dinosaur goop, shaving cream, cloud dough and erupting colors. Smiles and laughter was heard from all as they had time to explore all of these stations throughout the day. We ended our day with delicious popsicles for a summer time treat. Fun Fridays make the summer even more fun!

This Summer in Art, students focused on textiles! They learned a bit about weaving, the process of ice dying while creating beautiful bags to bring home, and collages from dyed wool! Our Early Learners always have a memorable experience in the Art Studio! 🎨

We absolutely adore building our relationships with our families, & what better way than a Family Ice Cream Social! 🍦🍦🍦

Students from Bright Beginnings enjoyed back to back Field Work Experiences including learning about acids and bases and experimenting by making lemon volcanoes. They also enjoyed all the museum studios and made a super cool fort in our Kinetic Studio that they ALL fit inside of!

The students in 4B completed a provocation on design work! Early Learners placed loose parts onto a design template. Next, they created and drew their own design template on white paper with a black marker. Finally, they placed loose parts onto their own design template! Check it out !

Classrooms 2B and 5A "Team Work is the key for success". Some non-nappers went to the garden and worked so hard with Mrs.Dunk and Mrs.Rivera to clean the garden area, remove the dry leaves and weeds, & take out the vines from the fence that cover our morning glory vine. The students also swept the garden area to leave it clean, arranged the planters, & moved them around to give the garden a fresh look!

At the end students and teachers met their goals to have a nice garden area. It was a great time to reinforce: turns, development of patience, gardening responsibilities, team work, fine and gross motor, science , vocabulary words, counting (Math) and review what did they already learned about planting and gardening. At the same time, they had so much fun and enjoyed their gardening experience. 💚

This will happen once a week for the Summer season, one classroom will be set up! The teachers will walk into their classroom in the morning with donuts and their classroom set up! This means the lights on, chairs down, tables, wiped down, etc. Just another small way to show our appreciation to our wonderful teachers .
