Pray for Afghanistan. So sad.

Today we pray for the innocent people of Afghanistan – those who are now left helpless in a dire and possibly deadly situation. With the new Taliban government, women will suffer greatly, Christians will be persecuted and killed, and this nation will be entirely closed to help from the outside world. Although the heaviness of the situation weighs on us all, let’s do what we can: thank a veteran who served in Afghanistan (there are 775,000 of them). If you have Afghan people in your state, love on them; they will probably never see their families again. And pray for the Afghans and others who are stuck in that country today; there are thousands of them.

Do what you can – let’s be the hands and feet of Christ.
