Durham Congregations in Action

DCIA has been building bridges across boundaries in the Bull City since 1969.

DCIA seeks to engage and empower people of faith to create communities of justice and peace through common prayers and acts of compassion; and with prophetic courage, to act as advocates for the dignity and well-being of all persons, recognizing that behind every human face is the face of God.

FYI!

Revival Reimagined Triangle · Down Home North Carolina Patterned after the Great Awakening Revivals in America, North Carolina has the unique opportunity to stoke religious fervor throughout the State and the nation. Radical evangelicalism is on its last leg in terms of popularity. The goal is to ensure that this fervor is not capitalized on and used fo...

Food distribution this week at the Food Bank!

⏰TIME: 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM/PM

⚠THESE ARE ALL THE LOCATIONS WE HAVE CURRENTLY

🌟Helpful Tip: If you are in need of assistance and a Pop-Up Market is not close by, please, use one of our amazing Partner Agencies. They can provide more personalized care, sometimes provide more than food even, and they are getting the same items that we are serving at our Pop-Ups. Find an agency near you by visiting foodbankcenc.org/foodfinder and typing in your zip code to the search bar. It will generate Partner Agencies and list them from closest to farthest from you.

🛑DO NOT ARRIVE before the scheduled market time - our staff and volunteers need that time to prepare for the market so that everyone has the best time possible.

📦And please, bring your own bags or boxes if possible.

⚠These are ALL the locations we have so far. We do plan on expanding the program to include more locations, but it is a work in progress. When we do have new locations, it will be posted ASAP.
