Meet popular US Coast Guard author, Tyler Benson, Friday, August 2 at The Bookman! Tyler has written a well loved children’s series about search and rescue adventures with Onyx, his station’s morale dog. Tyler will be in the store at 10 am to sign books and answer questions!

We are incredibly grateful that Allie Millington came to visit The Bookman this afternoon! Not only did Millington have rich insight to share about how Olivetti came to life, she opened up about the experience of becoming a published writer. During the question and answer session Allie speaks to how Olivetti crafted her storytelling and said, “With a typewriter, the only way to go is forward”.

Allie Millington is visiting us to do a reading, signing and Q&A for her bestselling novel, Olivetti, THIS Sunday! A special feature of this event are 2 typewriters we are borrowing from a patron and 10 typewriters from the Tri-Cities Museum that are now displayed in our store.
The 100th Coast Guard Festival is almost here, stop in The Bookman on Monday, July 29th at 6pm to hear some Coast Guard History! Editor/Publisher Mark Faultersack will give a presentation about My Book to You from the Greenland Patrol: The WWII Journal of Howard J. Faultersack - his father’s journal of letters written to his future wife while on patrol with the Coast Guard in Greenland.
Join us at The Bookman this Saturday, July 27th from 1-3pm to hear authors Marilyn Emery and Carol Jennings talk about their remarkable book, "The Power of Friendship". The book, which chronicles the stories of two friends spanning over 75 years, promises to inspire audiences with its touching narrative and profound insights into the enduring strength of true friendship.
Reflecting on the significance of this memoir, Tom Brady's mother, Galynn, shares, "The Power of Friendship" is a heartwarming memoir which inspires us to value and nurture our own friendships to enrich our lives.
