Happy Valentines Day!

We are expecting some very COLD weather over the next few days. Here are some tips on protecting your house in the freezing temperatures.

* Close inside valves supplying water to outdoor faucets and hookups.

* Open outdoor faucets to allow residual water to drain.

* Cover outside faucets with styrofoam protectors.

* Keep garage doors closed to help protect water pipes located in the garage.

* Open doors on cabinets to allow warm air to circulate around pipes.

* For pipes that are at risk for freezing, let water drip from faucets.

* Keep the heat set to a minimum of 55 degrees.

* If you have a leak, turn off water immediately and call a licensed plumber to make repairs.
