The forecast for tonight is mostly clear, so we will plan on opening at 9:30.

It's supposed to clear up quite a bit over the next few hours, so we will be opening at 9:30 this evening.

Side note: I am having trouble getting the Starline to pick up. This happened a little bit 2 weeks ago as well, so it looks like I'll need to get it looked at. In the meantime, if you happen to know anyone who relies on the Starline, let them know we plan to open tonight!

It doesn't look like the weather is going to cooperate tonight, so we will not be open. Our next scheduled public night is Saturday, April 20 at 8:30 pm.

The weather is not looking promising today, but I will still be setting up for eclipse viewing next to the ticket booth outside the Hastings College football game from 11 - 1.

We haven't had a lot of clear nights this summer, but it looks like it's going to be clear tonight (Friday).

Update: there is lightning to the south, so we will not be able to open tonight.

We're likely to have at least a few clouds, but we've had enough bad weather this summer that we're going to open tonight anyway and hope for the best. So, we'll be opening at 9:30.

Double check the Starline at (402) 462-7378 before you head out. there's achance of rain and if things get dicey I may have to cancel at the last minute. I don't have Facebook on my phone, so any updates would be on the Starline first.

Well, the weather seems to have taken a turn in the last few hours. We've got a Severe Thunderstorm Watch until 11:00 pm, so we're unfortunately going to have to stay closed tonight.
