VBS ended with a WHAM, BAM, and POW! We had 5 fun nights of learning about the super heroes in the Bible. Jesus is the ultimate super hero! The girls team won the penny wars, so they gave Dr. Chaos plenty of pies in his face!

VBS night #4 was AMAZING! We learned Daniel stayed faithful to God! Tomorrow is the last night of SuperHero training— bring a friend!

VBS night #3 came in with a KA-POW! 💥 We learned to trust in the Lord, just like David did when he was faced with Goliath! Join us for 2 more nights of Super Hero Training!

VBS night #2 SMASHED through walls like God brought down the walls of Jericho. We learned God honors Obedience! Bring a friend tomorrow night for another BOOMING good time!

Such a wonderful “Homecoming Sunday”! We are celebrating 14 years!

Midweek services all summer are on Thursdays. Come and join us as we invite guest speakers from all over the area. We call it the Summer Preaching Spectacular!

Happy Fourth of July Eve. Yes, tomorrow is the Fourth of July, the day we celebrate our nation’s birthday. We will have family gatherings, cookouts, fireworks, sporting events, etc. We indeed still have a lot to celebrate but we also have a lot to be concerned about. Our nation is going through some of its darkest hours. We are plagued with problems economically, politically, socially, civilly, morally, and spiritually.

As we prepare to celebrate tomorrow, I think that today we should take an unbiased look at the USA. If we do that, I believe we will have to conclude that there is something wrong with America. Having said that, I respectfully ask that sometime today or tomorrow you go to lifeworthlivingwithdrjack.buzzsprout.com and listen to “Something’s Wrong with America”. You can also find a link to that at drjacklawson.com/sermons. It is a message I preached some time ago but I believe it is very relevant for today. I love my country and strongly desire to see it return to the kind of country I knew as a child and for a large part of my adult life. Please pray our country.

This coming Sunday, July 7, is Homecoming Sunday at Jackson County Baptist Church. A group from Pensacola Christian College will be singing and I will be preaching in the 10:30 Service. We will have an Italian meal afterwards. I invite you to come and join us for this special day as we celebrate our fourteenth anniversary.

Hope you have a wonderful Fourth of July. Please don’t drink and drive! If you celebrate the fourth without a fifth we will all have a much better chance of being around for the sixth. Just a thought.

First last night I watched an episode of the old "To Tell The Truth" show and the real Joe Biden finally stood up.
