Mayes Physical Therapy

An update on things: Everything is going well with MayesPT. We are all doing well with no illnesses or any other calamities. We are busy in the clinic seeing many different patients with various diagnoses. I am still amazed on how extremely nice and interesting our patients are. I truly appreciate them. We all hope good health too you all.

I thought I would give you all an update on what is now available at Mayes Physical Therapy; We now offer a new technique called “dry needling.” This technique has been around for a few years, but it it became legal for us physical therapists to do it in July of 2019. So, I have been doing it for almost the past 2 years. What I have seen so far in doing this technique is it is a good option in treating many musculoskeletal disorders. It is usually well tolerated by the patients and is very effective. I am using this technique more often now that I have seen the results and have become more comfortable and confident in doing it. Most of the patients like it and even ask for it. Anyway, I wanted to let you folks know about this promising technique and consider it for your muscle skeletal problems.
