The New Collective’s new chapter begins after the holiday weekend! ✨🎉 Appointment days for private coaching memberships will be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday! Also, we will be announcing a special “Actor’s Gym” class on December 8th at a temporary new location in Sherman Oaks with the intention of having the class at this location every Friday in January! 😁 This will be RSVP only, stay tuned, announcement coming after the holiday!

✨🎉 Exciting news! We are working on a temporary solution to have Actor’s Gym 💪🏼🏋️‍♂️every Friday in January! One trial class will be held in December - details coming soon!

In today’s Actor’s Gym, we were reminded about the courage that it takes to show up for our artists.

I regret to announce that the many months of industry strikes have hit hard, and I will need to close the downtown studio space in November after Thanksgiving weekend. That’s the bad news - the good news is that the work will continue! Actor’s Gym will be temporarily suspended after November 22nd, but the one on one appointment days will remain in effect, with Wednesdays added in for good measure. The Membership packages will become “Private Coaching Memberships”. You can still choose to work remotely or in person, in person sessions will be held at my residence in Koreatown. I’ve also introduced a new “House Call” 5 session package where I can come to you (to be scheduled in advance outside of regular studio hours). As you may remember me mentioning many times, my first classes with Susan Batson were at her apartment in NYC. My time studying with Susan during that time were some of the most exciting years of learning about the work for me. Looking back, I’m reminded that a space is just a space - it’s about what you do in that space that matters. I value you all and I’m committed to preserving the wonderful work we do together! As the industry gets going again, with your support, we can hopefully get Actor’s Gym moving in a new space as soon as possible in the new year!

Packages have been updated on the website. Those of you who are on subscriptions can continue to use your sessions as always. This has been a challenging time for all, but there is light at the end of the tunnel. Please let me know if you have any questions.
